We went to this place after the beach in October. The food and the atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we could not stay for the live music but we saw the people playing warm up and they seemed so lovely. Absolutely 10/10 place. The tenders were really big and tasty, a god a photo of one of them before i finished! Best tenders i’ve ever had!

First of all, I reserved a room nearby this establishment just for the purpose of safely enjoying adult beverages without driving. Responsible me! This establishment has been advertising a “Big Party” for Superbowl. So I was excited to join this party and let my hair down for a few hours. Now, when I arrived at the door, a person asked me “are you here for the private party, or just the bar?” I was like “whaaa?” Turns out someone reserved 95% of the space for their private party, and the “Big Party” was confined to the regular bar and the tiki bar. This was NOT advertised on their website (see screenshot). Had I known that this is what I would have experienced, I would not have made the hotel reservation – and would have planned to go somewhere else. To add insult to injury, their prices for beers are exorbitant ($6 for a bottle of Bud). No Superbowl reduced prices – only full price for those confined to the bars. I will never return here again. What a waste of time.

We came over from the east coast to see a band and that was great! Had a lot of fun with that.
Our server was super sweet and checked in on us regularly as well. I was so happy that even though they had TVs and were showing an NFL game, the sound was off in favor of music. HUGE plus right off the bat!
I think the place is fine the way it is. It’s quirky and cozy and has character.
As for the food, neither of us ate what we ordered. I got the patty melt. The onions were not even close to being soft and caramelized. They were still white and had crunch to them. The bread was soft and soggy, not toasted/grilled like it’s supposed to be. My friend’s chicken quesadilla was flavorless as well.
But to the business’s credit, the chef came out to apologize and offer alternatives, but we passed, and he removed both meals from our tab. Customer service is important, so I gave 4 stars due to that and the fact all staff we encountered were really nice and helpful. I was mortified to turn down what I ordered, but no one made us feel awkward because of it, and that made a huge difference in our enjoyment of the evening.

First, let me start with the service, they were super slow and even forgot our waters. Took forever for food. Then the food was INCREDIBLY bland, like seriously… pass me the salt (only would recommend the pizza). There are also lots of people who smoke there which really affected our experience. Not a great place for kids. ♂️

Cons: Uninterested waitress sitting & on cellphone, dingy & dark indoors. Decor looks very dated. Needs remodeling of floors & seats. Took a glimpse of the kitchen and looked like one that Gordan Ramsey would tear out and redo. It looked dirty! Menus are dirty with sand & food and the plastic is tearing away from them. Although the food was ok, it needed flavor, more seasoning. We asked for lemon/lime wedges and we literally got 2 to flavor it up a bit! Just 2 wedges! The garlic toast didn’t taste anything like garlic and my mom found shrimp peels in her au gratin dish. We got the same dish except she got rice & beans (mom said with lots of hot sauce it was a save) and I got sweet potato fries (decent).
We won’t be going back.

Stopped here to get some oysters and boy am I glad we did !! The bartender Alana was cheerful and talkative , she explained that they were out of oysters but the truck was coming in soon and she would tell us when the truck arrived . We didn’t haveto wait long and I’m so happy we waiting . HUGE oysters for only a dollar each !!! Super fresh … super huge and delicious !!!

We came here 4 times during our 9 day trip, that’s how much we loved it here. The $1 oysters are SO good (all day every day is a crazy good deal!!) as was all the other food we tried. The portions are huge and really reasonably priced. They’re open late which made this the perfect place to watch nighttime football if you need somewhere kid-friendly. HIGHLY recommend coming in on a Sunday night to see the band/open mic thing they have going on. Special shoutout to the server named Kelsea for being extra personable and sweet both times she waited on us, she rocks! We will come back here next time we’re in town for sure!
