Famous Ashley (Manager) helps us place an order for December 24th of 2025, I picked up the order and it was correct and freshly hot. Ribs were awesome and the grilled chicken was great. My familia truly enjoyed every bit of the order.

We have been going to Famous Dave’s restaurant in Louisville, KY, on Hurstbourne Parkway for over 18 years. The last 3 times that we ate at the restaurant, there was no one else eating in there at that time. We mostly go at lunchtime on Mondays. My complaint is that there is no one in there eating, and we asked the manager to turn down the LOUD MUSIC. It is overwhelming. All 3 times in the last six weeks, we’ve asked the manager to turn down the music, and he has refused to turn down the music. It doesn’t make sense that we’re the only ones eating in there, and the manager won’t turn down the loud music while we’re eating. We hope that they get a new manager so we can eat in there without wearing earplugs. If there is a Famous Dave’s upper manager who reads this review, we sure would like to know when it is okay to eat there again.

I ordered Ribtip meal extra tips . Carry out service was great fast and friendly. Food quality was excellent. Meat was tender and fresh . Baked beans and mac and cheese was my sides very good and fresh .

Chose the lunch 1 meat option with chicken. The combination leg/thigh were quite small in size.
Waitress very nice but twice gave me a wrong bill. Gave up after the 2nd one as I needed to get to a client.

We ordered take out. Everything was delicious. Nice big fat meaty ribs. The catfish was crisp and flaky. Now they have banana pudding. I’m dying it was so good. I don’t even mind the fact that they put whipped cream on it, and I hate whipped cream. But I gobbled that up like it was my last meal.

I really wanted to enjoy the ribs like I did at the Portland Oregon location. That’s why I came here the second time. Unfortunately, it’s same disappointment. Meat not really cooked, could still taste the ‘unseasonness’ in the meat and still stuck to bone. If this restaurant claims to be franchised, isn’t the menu and recipe supposed to be same with others? Not coming back

Loved Famous Dave’s! I had the 3-meat combo with wings, smoked jalapeño sausage and brisket, with steamed broccoli and Wilbur’s beans for sides. My gf got the rib tips and wings. The food was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful, and the portions were generous. Especially loved the cornbread on the side. My lone complaint was that the price seemed a bit high, as I paid close to $60 for the two combos and one (tall) draft beer. But this is definitely a great BBQ spot.

Phenomenal service and food! Wish we had one closer to home. This was a meal for 2 but we left with lots of leftovers. Would highly recommend trying it if you’ve never been! We loved it and will go back if we ever see another one.
