Definitely not worth the wait or the money

Went for lunch, which wound up being dinner for how long it took to get our food. By the time it came it was the biggest disappointment. Steaks were cooked as ordered but “The Longhorn” was so thin and full of grizzle and not worth the $35 price tag.

The Ribeye – supposed to be 12oz was also thin and very salty.

After expressing our disappointment, all the waitress had to say was “oh, I’m sorry”.
Another 20-30 minutes to get my tab and pay the bill.

No thanks, Longhorn. I’ll stick with Texas Roadhouse from now on.

When I go to a steakhouse, I have always stuck to a ribeye, ny strip, or even a sirloin. I always thought a filet mignon was a tiny cut with no fat and if not cooked PERFECTLY, would have no flavor. Then I was talked into getting the 9oz flo’s filet. Cooked med-rare(of course) plus sauteed & s. I cut it with my FORK! If you doubt it, check out the video. Talk about a steak melting in your mouth. And they are consistent. The only “complaint” (it’s not really a complaint because it was not their fault) I have is a couple times there were no Brussels sprouts. I think due to a drought or something. But I cannot recommend Longhorn enough!

LongHorn Steakhouse consistently delivers a reliable and enjoyable dining experience. The steaks were cooked to order, well-seasoned, and flavorful, reflecting the quality the restaurant is known for. The sides were fresh and complemented the meal well. Service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Overall, LongHorn Steakhouse is a dependable choice for a well-prepared steak and a pleasant dining experience, and I would recommend it.

Me and my fiance went to this long horn for the first time ever, (I usually go to the one in Fleming island) and needless to say we won’t be returning. Everything started out great, our appetizers were delicious and our server was a sweetheart. But upon getting our food my fiancé had noticed his salmon was severely undercooked (Ik what you’re thinking, it’s just salmon so it’s okay! Except I’m pregnant and tried the salmon.) they took the salmon back, and put the same one on the grill. They’re allowed to do this, I think the only problem with this is that the salmon then tasted horrible (obviously). Anywho, I had ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken (my favorite) and after noticing his salmon was obviously undercooked, I cut open my other chicken breast which also appeared to be slightly undercooked, which we all know ANY form of undercooked chicken is no good. I stopped eating the chicken right then and decided to just take a picture of it so I could look at it after leaving to see if maybe the lighting was off. After asking a couple people to look at the picture they informed me the chicken did not look fully cooked either. Needless to say I’m completely unsatisfied and being pregnant I’m now very concerned for my wellbeing.

Stopped in for dinner with the wife plus 2 take out orders. Sat at the bar. Food was consistent for Longhorn experience. We both had Chicken. Tasted great. Burgers and fries we brought home for the boys were demolished upon delivery. 140$ for food and adult beverages.

Pretty busy tonight! 5 people 1 check. Sat within 15 minutes if that! Food excellent! Drinks were pretty good but the server forgot 1 persons beer for a long long time. That was the servers only big mis step but it did NOT ruin the meal. The server did seem pretty rushed thru and rushing is a bit. Again didn’t ruin the meal. We get it. Today is a day after a big holiday and no one feels like cooking tonight so every restaurant in the area is busting at the seams. My other take aways are the restaurant is starting to show its age and really just needs a refresh and parking is pretty wonky with sometimes having to park in the area for other stores but still plenty of parking if you don’t mind. Sorry I didn’t think about pics till just now.

When we first walked in, we got seated with no silverware or napkins, tried to order the Firecracker chicken wraps as an appetizer and was told they didn’t have any. We ordered the wings instead. The wings arrived, hot, but no seasoning. That’s the whole point in the “Seasoned wings”. When we got our main dishes, I asked for double steamed broccoli, didn’t even get steamed once, I asked for mashed potatoes with extra butter, got no extra butter, and the mashed potatoes were COLD. I mean COLD. The steak was OK. Lacking the flavor and juiciness their steaks normally have. Honestly, the worst longhorn dinner I’ve had. Will not be returning to this location again.

To start out with, I would like to say that our server was very kind and very attentive. And she was absolutely amazing. Started out great appetizer was hot and amazing. (says Stacy Lynn on the receipt don’t quite remember her name, but she was amazing) We had the little onion petals. After that is when everything went wrong too large triangle. We ordered the outlaw ribeye steak with the brussels sprouts and mac & cheese and then added on a salad. Sometimes we like to share our dinner and it’s a 20 ounce steak. We ordered the steak medium/medium rare. Figured more towards the medium rare side when it came out, it would be medium like most places. Actually came out well done. Our server gladly was willing to take it back and have another steak made. At this point, we waited and our steak came out and it was basically raw. We’d cut a small piece off and then wound up cutting through the middle. She took the steak back.( keep in mind, our waitress explained to me that their best cook was back in the back.) They threw it back onto the grill evidently over an open flame because it definitely looked cooked on the outside, but then as we’re cutting into it again extremely rare. Keep in mind we have now had the same steak twice and cut into it multiple times.. Our server again apologizes says that she will get the manager who comes over and takes the steak once again back to the back and attempts to cook the same steak for the third time. ( Who continues to throw the same steak on a grill and attempts to cook it three times???) At this point, I no longer want a steak that has been cooked three times so I had asked for a new steak. She tried to just refund the money Versus just making another steak. I explained I have no problems paying for the steak and I would like to have a steak cooked correctly. ( Keep in mind also I am very calm and very patient and not trying to be difficult by no means I just would like what I paid for.) It’s not like I went to a chicken wings place looking for a steak. I went to a steakhouse. I have eaten that Longhorn many times in Fleming Island and never had any problems. So the manager, then brings out a third stake, which clearly is not the renegade stake it is a smaller coat of meat and nowhere near a stick and it is well done. At this point, I was just done. So we finished our salad, brussels sprouts and mac & cheese, and just collected our check and left. Thank you, Longhorn for a two hour lunch and a steak that my dog truly enjoyed.
