Really quick and delicious meal. The meat is flavorful, the sauces are nice and spicy, and the toppings really pull everything together. I had the quesataco, taco de bistek, and frijoles especiales. The frijoles were really really good. Over the top with flavor. I would come back again!

This is the best restaurant in Brownsville and Texas. If you think you have had Mexican tacos, then you are fooling yourself. Because you need to eat them here. Your mother would make a deal with you know who to make tacos this great. But you can fool yourself with the garbage taco hell you call food. Did I mention the fantastic food here, made by angels? Easy access in the middle of town. Stop by and grab a taco.

Horrible service. Came today (December 31st 2025) at around 3:30PM with a family member and the waitress took forever to give us a menu and take our orders. Once we got our orders, the tripas that I had ordered were all soft like they weren’t cooked right when I had asked for them to be made crunchy. They even added sides onto my tacos that I did not ask for. They as well did not ask if everything was ok or if we wanted more tacos or a drink. The waitress only asked every other table around us except for my table if they wanted something else. I had overheard a staff member say they were going to close at 4:00PM but there was a older lady started to lock both doors from the outside 20 minutes before the time they had said. My waitress started showing signs of wanting everyone leave. Even saying that they are going to close early for the staff to be able to be with their family. She mentioned that when we had just sat down and were ready to get our orders taken. Overall, would not go again nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Wow! Super surprised of how much this tacos have changed. This use to be my favorite place to eat at when I would visit family. I would always bring co-workers. But taco are nasty now No flavor and ugly cheese. The beans it’s like I asked for meat and beans instead of beans with meat. Then look at that barbacoa dirty as hell. Looked like it was days old. Had a funky taste. Super sad to see how much this place changed after of years of not coming.

Very simply the best tacos in town.
This place is usually busy and the reason why is it’s good food in a casual atmosphere and the prices are down right great.
They have about six or eight different types of tacos and pretty much that’s the menu.
They also have a stuffed baked potato which I have not tried but if it’s like the rest of their food it should be great.
Dinner for two is less than 15 bucks and that’s if you order a lot.
I usually get to Tacos pirata with tip and it’s five bucks, can’t go wrong with this..
Bottom line if you like tacos go there and try it you will not be disappointed
