I stumbled on this place by accident a couple of weeks ago, and now I basically go at least once a week.
I love the location; it’s kind of hidden behind a tattoo shop but it has its own free parking space (anyone in downtown knows this isn’t always the case).
You have a great view outside (especially nice in fall) and the food isn’t just good but comes out very fast! Customer service is also nice: very friendly and attentive servers. I’ve been multiple times now and this has been my experience each time.

It was our first time here, and it was so good. You do have to pay for chips and salsa, but the queso dip was delicious. They have regular and vegan options, which was really nice. It was $90 for 4 adults, so not the cheapest, but we did get the chips and salsa and the queso, so that was around $10 alone. Most meals were around $18. I got the veggie chili relleno. So good! We would go back.

We come here all the time and it’s always amazing. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistent every visit. The staff is great and always makes us feel welcome. The menu has something for everyone, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The patio is such a nice spot to relax, especially on a warm evening. Andres is an awesome server — friendly, attentive, and always on top of things. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in town!

Lola was an amazing server! She was friendly, attentive, and gave A+ service! I got the Tamale, and my husband got the Salmon, everything was phenomenal! Notice the only thing we got a picture of was the dessert (Churros) because everything else was devoured too quickly . Always a pleasure to eat at Mezcalitos!

Andreas (?) was our server and he was fantastic. He was well dressed, extremely welcoming and friendly, and the staff comped the food we didn’t enjoy for us on their own decision. The green salad was delicious and refreshing, the dragonfly drink was amazing, and I definitely recommend going here for some drinks and dinner.

Went there for brunch. It was dead when we showed up but eventually got pretty busy. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but far from bad.
I ordered chips and salsa and chilaquiles. I did add salsas on top of my chilaquiles to give it some more flavor, but overall they were tasty. My gf got the enchiladas and liked them, but stated both the rice and beans were bland.

I had an exceptional experience right here at the Mezcalitos Grant Park Tequila Bar. My amazing service from Norma was the cherry on top. My churros were amazing. My burrito tacos were out of this world. My drink was exquisite , I’m sure you can hear my voice. My drink is overly.. I will be back. I will just say that , I will be back. Just put it like that and this is in my top five Mexican restaurants and it ain’t number five and it ain’t number four or three so it’s in the top two yeah that’s it.

I also enjoyed Miss Norma. My favorite thing about her was her interpersonal style. She made me trust her based on her expertise of the menu , top to bottom, and her smile ! She recommended I get the “Mezcal Sour” and boy… it’s spicy but to me a delicious alcoholic beverage.
