The food truly never misses. Brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour all offer standout options that are both delicious and creative.
They also have a full cocktail menu along with great non-alcoholic options, which I really appreciate.
An all-around solid spot that delivers every single time.
We arrived at the restaurant and we were seated right away. Our server greeted us with a smile and was very happy and energetic.
They start you off with a small bowl of popcorn that tasted like it was seasoned with some type of pesto/ranch seasoning. It was fine.
The environment is quite loud and a little cramped, but we expected that in this location. It’s def tough holding a conversation and we found ourselves yelling a bit.
It was quite busy and at times it was tough find our sever bc she was running around. They give you small glasses for water. Suggest leaving a bottle on the table so we can refill. I needed water frequently with all the delicious food we ordered.
The food was very good. I ordered the big ol’ mozzarella sticks and they were excellent. My wife ordered the lobster cargot….that was just ok…not worth the $20. She also ordered 2 glasses of wine which were $12 each.
Our meals were pretty good. My wife ordered the small crab cake meal. She said it was the perfect portion size. It came with lobster mac n cheese and asparagus. I ordered the scallops and risotto. My meal was good, not bland but not WOW either.
For dessert we ordered the heath bar crunch bread pudding and the chocolate mousse wontons. The bread pudding was amazing! The wontons were underwhelming and a little too sweet for us, especially at the end of this big meal.
We did enjoy the food. The service was above average. The environment was too loud and the parking was meh. We would go back and try it again now that we know a bit more about the place.
Dinner for 2 including tip and parking was over $200.
I ordered the 12 oz American Wagyu New York strip, which was the most expensive item on the menu, and it was worth every dollar. Perfectly cooked, rich, tender, and full of flavor. You can genuinely taste the quality of the Wagyu. It was served hot on cast iron and seasoned beautifully without overpowering the meat.
Ashley ordered the roasted beef short rib, and it was fall apart tender. Deep flavor, slow cooked to perfection, and incredibly satisfying. One of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave.
The sides were just as impressive. The fries were crisp and well seasoned, the lobster mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster, and the onion rings were light and crunchy without being greasy.
For drinks, I had the Bearista Spiked Latte, which was smooth, balanced, and creative. Not too sweet, not too strong, just done right. The cocktail menu overall is very well thought out.
Presentation was upscale and intentional, the atmosphere was perfect for a date night or special occasion, and the service really tied everything together. Joe was a great server. Attentive, professional, and made the experience even better without hovering.
If you are looking for high quality steak, excellent cocktails, and an overall elevated dining experience, this place delivers. I will absolutely be back.
We recently visited the food market because of their customer appreciation event where they were offering 50% off the entire menu. This was something new as I don’t believe I remember them doing this type of event, but it was so thoughtful of the restaurant to do this. Regardless of the discount this restaurant is a must visit as they are consistently producing top-notch quality dishes.
Not to mention, the service was amazing given how crowded the restaurant was this particular day. Our server Nadeen was amazing. She was attentive, prompt, and made sure we were well taken care of.
This restaurant is suitable for families or just as perfect for those looking for a more intimate date night. However, because of its location, location they don’t have a designated parking area therefore it is a street parking situation.
Now moving onto the food ! They have a pretty decent number of items on their menu and I think at this point I have tried just about everything and I can’t say that I dislike any items. I’ve tried so far. However, I will share some of my favorites. I love their giant mozzarella stick. Considering it size it somehow still stays altogether and super crunchy with just the right amount of cheese pull. We also got their street corn wedge salad, and that was amazing. It was super light and paired so nicely with the ranch and the shrimp. And of course, they’re famous cheesesteaks also delicious with very tender pieces of meat paired with their really soft chewy bread. And while I’m not one for mocktails I got their Gucci lemonade, and it was so refreshing, not overly sweet and paired perfectly with my meal!
