There really was no experience to describe.
We were traveling today and were going to be passing through Monticello at around 1 pm. We thought barbecue for lunch would be good. We found Blue B Que on the Internet and saw the hours are 11 am to 8 pm. We arrived at 1 pm today, Saturday April 2 to find the same hours printed on the door, but the door locked and the open sign turned off. There was a small, handwritten not taped to the door saying they don’t open until 4 pm. I’m guessing they just open and close at whim without any regard to possible customers coming in.
