I had the absolute worst experience EVER at the Mama Por Dios in Rancho Cucamonga. We had a reservation for 845 and did not get seated until almost 11 PM. The menu was limited most Items on the menu were not available, My ribeye came out cold and I was provided nothing but a fork for utensils not even a knife. I requested a knife and never received it.. There was no music playing in the background just the noise of everyone around and their conversations. The restrooms were the absolute worst thing I had ever experienced in my life. I’d compare it to the public restrooms at a campsite. Thanks for the worst Valentines Day diner Experience ever, what a waste of 283 dollars.

I was really excited to visit Mama Por Dios after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. We ordered the octopus, lamb shops, and salmon, and all three dishes were overcooked and chewy. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she explained that the restaurant policy is not to undercook their meat — but the texture and quality definitely suffered because of it.
On a positive note, the tequila drink I ordered was AMAZING, and another cocktail served in a birdcage was presented very sophisticated. The drinks were definitely the highlight of the night.
I truly wish the food had matched the presentation and ambiance.

Ok, so my wife wanted to come here for her bday. Let’s talk about it. The food was mid. I had the mole, it was watery and lacked flavor. My wife had the seabass and it was fishy. This is a premium dish anywhere else. It was not the best here. The good? Lobster mac was good and the drinks where on point. The service was slow and but the food came out fast if you order everything in one shot. The celebrations are fun here but that’s about it. Would I do it again, no.

The camerones de roca and glazed bread are phenomenal. Mario, our server was attentive, excited about his service, and overall a wonderful host here at the restaurant. He made us feel cared for and attended to our every need. Would definitely ask for him again if we came back!

Had a reservation and sat in the entrance without anyone around for 10 minutes. The server got the drink order and took food order when drinks arrived. Never seen again after that. Others brought out the food and it was good but not as good as the price. The total price was that of a fine restaurant but the service and surroundings were not. Needs the servers to cater more to the customers and different stuff on the giant screen. You will see.

12/20/25 !!DEAD!! No loud music like before, no live music at all, low atmosphere very low, music was at its low tone, food: was (ok) servings is bad basically got an empty plate for a high price item (fajitas) looked like just half a scoop of each item didn’t even cover the lil fajita iron plate it self! Drinks are ok still thank god! Lol.

Nice if all you’re looking for is appearance. I wasn’t a fan of my drink. The guacamole was ok. Just avocado with a flight of salsa. I got the language taco. Tortilla was a soft fried corn tortilla, so it was very greasy.
