Visiting Louisville and Drake’s was highly recommended so we stopped in for dinner. It has a sports bar atmosphere but not extremely loud so you can actually enjoy the meal with family and friends. Our server Shane, A+ service. He was kind, knowledgeable about the menu, explained all the meals and had great recommendations. He greeted us with a smile and checked on us consistently. Our Glasses were never empty long. Even the manager, Mo stopped by and checked on us as well to see if we were doing ok.
Food: arrived hot and in a timely manner. Food was good. We had a variety of items, appetizers, burgers, chicken, and sushi.
Atmosphere: the seating was self serve but it didn’t take long for a server to stop by and get your meal ordered.

Burgers and Sushi, I wasn’t expecting together but both are good, very nice atmosphere, plenty TVs to watch games. The Kentucky Barrel Ale beer is delicious!

Drake’s buffalo chicken quesadilla is spot on. Perfect amount of buffalo sauce, great flavor, and just the right heat—spicy enough to know it’s there, but not “I need milk and life choices” spicy.
The only thing hotter than the quesadilla? The volume of the Christmas music. I love a good holiday jam, but it was so loud you couldn’t have a normal conversation unless you were willing to yell lyrics to Jingle Bell Rock across the table.
Turn the music down just a notch and this place would be a 5-star experience—my ears would appreciate it as much as my taste buds did.

Hannah C was an incredible waitress, very attentive and kind. Never saw the bottom of a cup without her showing up with a refill. The food was phenomenal as well, fried pickles were crispy and fresh even when we tried the left over ones at the end after we ate the food. Great time!

It’s a very large restaurant with big booths. Looks like a good sports bar for groups.

Drakes has to be one of the places my colleagues love to eat at. The fried pickles are the best. Love the salads as well. I mostly go for the sandwiches which taste delicious.

I hadn’t been to Drakes in a decade. I had remembered it as more of a night club that I went to back when I rode motorcycles in 2012-ish. I never would have come to Drakes for food for lunch, and I didn’t for all that time.
Today is a coworkers Birthday and they wanted to come here. A group of 14 of us stormed Drakes and we had a fantastic time! Emma was out server and she didn’t bat an eye, just provided excellent service with a smile!
We got here around noon and there was no parking problem, the lot is huge! We walked right in and found 3 tables available, plenty of seating! The wait wasn’t bad but with a party of 14 you are in for a wait anyway. The atmosphere made the wait fun! Music is just loud enough to talk but not blare you out. There are lots of screens to watch, and music videos to the music is a nice touch.
I went on the safe route and got buffalo chicken fingers with sweet potatoes fries and it was so good! Portions were good size, food delightful and tasty. Buffalo was just the right heat and flavor! I will be coming back, plenty of things to try out here.
My co-workers had the Sushi, I will update my review when I come back for the Sushi.

I was skeptical about a place that claimed to do burgers and sushi. But I was happily proved wrong! We got the juicy Lucy burgers and a sushi roll and they were both delicious!! Highly recommend an additional side of garlic mayo to dip the fries in!!

The food was exactly what I wanted when I was craving a great burger. The fried pickles were also a great addition (and came with a hefty portion too). Our server, Hannah C, was on top of everything and provided service that was truly a cut above the rest. I will definitely be coming back!
