The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were more than we could eat in one sitting. The staff was attentive always checking on us but not overbearingly so. Will definitely be coming back.

Love getting sushi from here—always very good quality.

Unfortunately, my recent pickup experience wasn’t great. I arrived a few minutes early, paid, and was told my order wasn’t quite ready and that I’d be notified when it was. Given how busy it was, I understood the wait and sat down.

I waited in the restaurant from 6:35–7:15 for an order placed at 6:20. When I finally checked in at the front desk asking about my order, my order was immediately picked up from the completed orders and handed to me. I hadn’t been notified that it was ready.

I understand busy nights happen, but the lack of communication and attention to pickup orders was disappointing—especially not knowing how long prepared food had been sitting out. Hoping this is something that can be improved, as the food itself is always great.

Great experience! The staff was friendly, and having a personal chef cook right at the table made the meal both fun and delicious. The chef was skilled, entertaining, and adapted to the crowd. Loved the fresh food and the fishpond décor—especially fun for kids!

I’ve come to the realization that I’m just not a fan of the food here, and that’s okay—everyone has their preferences. I’ll stick with what I’m used to at Sakura. My review, however, is based entirely on the service, not the food.

I was told the wait would be 10–15 minutes, which was not accurate. The young man at the hostess station was more than pleasant. Very well mannered and polite. Once seated, we ordered drinks. I asked for a hot tea with lemon. It arrived with no lemon, no spoon, and there were no sugar or sweetener packets on the table. When I asked for Splenda, the server simply said, “We only have pink,” and walked away.

Our appetizers arrived for the three of us—coconut shrimp, ribs, and sushi—but we weren’t given any small plates to eat them on. When our meals came out, our server never checked on us, never asked how the food was, and never asked if we needed anything else. She walked by once to refill my husband’s soda without saying a word. Had she checked in, I would have had the chance to say I didn’t care for my meal and ask to order something different.

When she finally returned, it was obvious I hadn’t touched my food. Any attentive server would have asked if everything was okay. Instead, nothing was said. With an automatic 18% gratuity added to all checks, I typically tip based on service—and unfortunately, the service tonight was disappointing.

$150.64 wasted. Even if the food had been amazing, I wouldn’t return based on the service alone.

The Kabuto Japanese Steak House, located on Pulaski Highway in Maryland, delivered another delicious experience! My wife and I enjoyed a seafood plate and a shrimp tempura roll each. The seafood plate was a generous portion, featuring shrimp, scallops, lobster, zucchini, onions, noodles, and fried rice – so much so that we needed a to-go box!

We arrived promptly at 11:30 AM on a Friday and were seated immediately by our friendly and professional waitress. We started with comforting miso soup and a crisp ginger salad. The shrimp tempura arrived next, perfectly preparing us for the well-timed arrival of our main seafood plate. Everything was fantastic, and we’re already planning our next visit.

We came in a little before HH. We sat at a table versus hibachi style. The menu was actually affordable. 2 people in our party ordered food and their check together was $37. My fiancé and I ordered salmon and rice and chicken and rice. I think that was about $45 together. We also ordered a drink that was huge enough for us to split. It is $10 on the HH menu but $14 on the regular menu. Overall the service was awesome, the food was great, and the cost was reasonable. HH offers a great menu just a little FYI.

We went there for a quick lunch. Food was good but not spectacular. Service was very good. They didn’t have GF soy sauce, that was disappointing.

Went with a group of 8 for dinner(you will not be seated unless the whole party is there). We went because the reviews battles with Kobe. It’s cheaper and at the time closer to where we were. The sushi rolls were soo good I recommend the Birds nest and Baltimore roll they were nice to share with the group. I do prefer this places steak over the others it was still tender the next day. I don’t like that they used spaghetti noodles. The portions are smaller compared to Kobe but I do love that they don’t cramp everyone into one room. There’s room to move around and view the restaurant and enjoy the time. I might come back just to try some more if I’m ever in the area
