The Malai Momos (1st pic) are delicious with a creamy but not overstated sauce. A good example of the other food served at this tasty establishment. Palek Paneer (Green, spinach curry with goat cheese chunks) was creamy and smooth. Nan tastes as good as it looks; firm but melts in the mouth. Service is good with food being brought out in a timely matter and the servers are friendly, polite, and accommodating. Priced fairly for the large, filling portions and quality of said food as well. Definitely recommend and right beside the mall!

A lovely northern take on the biryani. I ordered the Goat, very tender. Absolutely delicious and a fantastic experience during a Friday lunch hour.
Not to mention the prices are fantastic for the portions you are getting. I will certainly be back, and will be referring all good food-loving people here in the future. Thank you

I rarely ever leave bad reviews, but my experience at MintLeaf Kingston has been disappointing every single time. The vibe and ambience are impressive, but the food is nowhere close to the same standard.

We ordered the chicken fried rice and it was honestly terrible. They used frozen mixed veggies (peas, carrots, beans, corn) that were soggy, with absolutely no Chinese flavour, no green onions – nothing that makes fried rice taste like fried rice.

We also went to get sweets afterward, and they refused to sell a small quantity, so we bought the minimum order. When we got home and tasted it, it was clear the sweets had been sitting for ages. No freshness, no flavour.

Yesterday my friend ordered a paneer wrap and a non-veg thali, and that too was a huge letdown. The paneer wrap was stuffed with stale soggy lettuce and an extremely spicy sauce—even after asking them NOT to make it spicy. It made me vomit after eating it. The non-veg thali had only one non-veg item (butter chicken), and the dal was stale and sour. Not to mention every item was super pricey but nothing worth the price!

I’m generally someone who eats without complaining even if things are slightly off, but this was genuinely frustrating to the core. A place with such nice ambiance should absolutely serve better food.~~~

Very disappointing experience. We ordered jeera rice and dal tadka, but the dal was served completely plain without any tadka. When we asked the staff about it, we were told, “this is what we have.” Dal tadka is supposed to have proper tempering, and serving plain dal under that name is misleading.

Not only was the food not as described, but the response from the staff was also dismissive instead of trying to fix the issue. Definitely not what we expected. Would not recommend.

We are regular customers at Mint Leaf and always enjoy coming here. This time we ordered Chole Bhature and Masala Chai, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were authentic and the food came out fresh and delicious.

A special mention to our server, Simran, who helped us find a comfortable spot and served us quickly and efficiently. She was very attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

We had a truly splendid time at Mint Leaf Restaurant in Kingston. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was welcoming and elegant, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
The food was outstanding. An excellent variety of Indian cuisine with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The quality and taste really stood out.
The service was equally impressive. Attentive, courteous, and professional throughout our visit.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian food with a great dining experience. Great job to the entire team and keep up the excellent work.

It’s a very hit and miss place. I ordered two dishes for myself. One was an appetizer chicken seekh kebabs and the other was a Tuesday special makki roti and saag.

Taste: the chicken kebabs were nothing to write home about. They were not hot and they were very dry to eat. They did not taste fresh whatsoever. It almost seemed like they were cooked from frozen or premade box stuff.
Makki roti and saag was very tasty but again the food was not hot by temperature.

Service: Since I was dining alone, I asked the person who took my order if I can get the appetizer first, and then the main dish. I was told that surely it can be done. However, when the food came, the main course was brought first. I asked the server that I had requested for the appetizer first instead of the main dish. The server told me since kebabs take more time to cook. Therefore, the main dish was served first.

I said OK and I start eating and within a minute they bring the appetizer out as well. So much for kebabs, taking more time to cook. It was hard to flag down staff for the check or for service. A lot of the time they were just walking around very lazy and not really paying attention to the patrons at the table.

Ambience: the music was insanely loud as a result of which people were literally yelling across tables to talk to each other.
