The Comida Corrida is a total win. The Caldo de Res was awesome, and the flautas were perfectly crunchy and tasty. Don’t skip the chile—it’s amazing! Plus, the horchata is sweet and refreshing.

Ay Cocula was excellent! My host, Nacho, was attentive, professional and helpful. The ambience was “alegre” (cheerful) and colorful. They even had a beautiful Day of the Dead altar & pan de muertos. The music was traditional tex-mex with everything from Selena, Vicente Fernandez to rock en espanol. I was by myself for lunch so I chose to eat at the bar and watch a soccer game. First, my server Cesar brought me salsas and chips. Honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Then I had the chiles rellenos with rice and beans. The chiles rellenos were as excellent and just like my mom made them and the beans were delicious with the classic taste of frijolitos made with manteca. At the bar I enjoyed a refreshing Dos XX but I watched bartender Oscar make a mango margarita so I will definitely try that on my next visit. Overall, as someone who has dined at top restaurants in California, Nevada, snd Texas, Ay Cocula ranks as one of the best. If you want an excellent meal with great music, wonderful service and excellent food, visit Ay Cocula. Gracias, Nacho, Cesar and Oscar for a memorable lunch! Happy Grand Opening! Wishing Ay Cocula much success and longevity!

This place sucks!! We chose this place because it had 4/5 stars on Google but it was a complete disappointment. We ordered chicken tacos, Mexican plato, and shrimp cocktail. The chicken was very dry, tacos came with no sauce, the avocado was halved and still had a sticker on it, radishes were dried up, dish was broken!!!, and many flies within the restaurant. This place was very overpriced for what we got. Not worth it at all. Do not recommend

It was an awesome Valentine evening! Mariana our waitress has excellent people skills! She was very attentive to our needs and did them with gusto!
The atmosphere was very pleasant in every aspect! Very comfortable and warm, very inviting! Miguel Hernandez performed first, sang beautifully! Then came Freddy, excellent performer, dancing and singing different genres. Imitated Juan Gabriel perfectly and his voice, was the exact imitation of Juan Gabriel!

Didn’t impress me….the tacos are mini, mini tacos (almost same size as the lime) 4× $12.50 kind of expensive for what it is, and pastor lack of flavor, tripitas were crunchy but needed at least more salt.
Quesabirrias 7/10 just a little bit of cheese. 4×$14.00
Agua pepino-limon 8/10 $6.00

The food was nothing like it was pictured and the taste was not very good. My friend had the tripas tacos, which are street taco sized, and weren’t very good. I had the red enchiladas and they were dry and chili tasted like powered chili or canned sauce; they did have plenty of cheese. The beans didn’t taste “homemade”. We went in for a late lunch and the service was still slow, although our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
