My family of 3 came here for dinner tonight on 2/9/26. The estimated wait time was 15 mins. We are seated and served by Richard. We place our orders for the BREWHOUSE BITES SAMPLER, RIBEYE STEAK, & CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD. Plus an unsweetened iced tea and 2 waters.
The food takes a bit of time to come out but I couldn’t blame them because the traffic for this evening was pretty busy. Our food eventually comes out and everything was made according to our request. Food was essentially good. The steak was medium rare, the caesar salad was well dressed, and the tomato add-on was provided. The brewhouse sampler was a great option for our fam to share especially since my toddler was able to enjoy a little bit of everything.
During our meal, our initial server [Richard] checked up on us a few times before lowkey disappearing. Again, the restaurant was busy. When we did manage to see him again, we placed an order for a Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® knowing it can take a bit of time.
Time ticks on and on. Still no Pizookie. Out of habit and wanting to be helpful, I stacked all of our dishes neatly waiting for the table to be cleared and for the dessert to arrive. The table never got cleared and the dessert never came. This was clearly an ongoing issue since the table behind us had the same issue of a forgotten part of their order as well.
Time is still ticking and no sight of our server. Eventually Erick notices us just sitting around and asks us if we are doing okay. We ask if he could look into our dessert because our well past my child’s bedtime. Erick apologizes and immediately clears our table and checks the status of the dessert. Apparently, our order was made and was “taken” by another server so our order would have to be made again.
Fast forward:
It took us over 40 minutes to finally receive our Pizookie. Erick repeatedly apologized even though it was not his fault given the fact he wasn’t even our initial server.
While the meal was kind of disastrous, our outcome was the opposite. Thank you to Michael [the acting manager this evening] for stopping by and acknowledging our pain. Management handled things with care and took the time to actually listen. Thank you to Erick who essentially took care of us during the second half of our meal- your customer service and care for patrons is unmatched!
5 stars. I’m still a fan, there is a reason as to why this is the only BJ’s I chose to dine at!
We also watched the niners lose to the Seahawks, but you know what? Food was great, and circumstances don’t dictate my reactions. Great place.
I was hoping to try their Sunday special prime rib, but sadly they were out of stock for my late evening (~9pm) post-flight meal. My fallback choice of a ribeye was of middling quality, but the temper was decent and the added garlic butter topping helped a lot.
She was definitely the highlight of our night. Our server was cool. We weren’t even all sitting down when she came and asked us for our order. We had a party of 8 and some of our parties wanted separate checks, she made it more difficult on separating them then she should of. As servers ourselves, I know how we all hate seperate checks but it happens. It shouldn’t have been as difficult as she was making it especially having her tablet with her. Overall my daughter had a wonderful dinner. Kanina was the best part. Thanks kanina. Give her a raise. We all know it starts with the first face you see, and she was a delight.
Food was okay. I order a soup and salad and their soup is a little less than warm but still ok. Salad is okay overall it’s a good lunch spot. Service was okay and the server keep checking in to make sure everything is ok.
