My family has always loved this restaurant and I have to say the food is still the best I have found in town. However, the service has declined drastically in recent years. We attempted to go to dinner last night and waited at least 30 minutes watching while several groups left but only one group was seated. Several groups of people came in after us and no one even came to greet or acknowledge them. Everyone was talking about how they seemed to be ignoring everyone waiting because we could see people looking at us.

It was an all around awesome experience. The ambiance was perfect from the moment you enter with the calm of the fountain. Service was fast and patient with having three boys. The food was authentic and 10 out of 10, hit home and reminded me of California. Recommend for all the fams of 5+ or even a solo meal. Will be back soon.

I went there with my daughter and a friend around 1:30 a few weeks ago. I wasnt sure if I wanted to leave a review, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt I should. There were two other tables when we walked in, here was one server working. A few more people walked in after we ordered. I got a combo plate. I didnt eat much of it because it was very salty. The waitress was busy running around, she was not able to make a table touch since she dropped the food. She came to drop the check and asked if I would like a box, I said no that it was too salty. She took my plate and said she would let them know. To be honest, I have ate there before, the food was ok. I would describe it as white mans Mexican, no real flavor to it. I only went that day because my friend wanted to go. The server was. A couple walked out because she was not able to greet them for a while. Which says how she was running around. A bit later a man can out, came to our table. He very rudely said why am I saying it is too salty. He tasted it and it was just fine. Why did I eat half of it? Why did I not say anything sooner? Its his family recipe and there is nothing wrong with it. I did not eat half of it I told him. I told him didnt say it was salty to get free food, I was saying why I didn’t want a to go box. I was in shock really at this point from how rude and loud he was being. I will never go there again if this is how they treated me.

My husband and I have been here a few times and the service is always good. The food is consistently delicious. As an added bonus the inside is set up like you’re eating outside in a small courtyard and there’s even a small fountain.

Revisited after 10 years and it’s every bit as good! Love the decor, the staff and the food. Chips and salsa always fresh. Good rellano and rice also!
