It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

Some of the food from the salad bar tastes canned …so disappointed, but my server, Kimberly went out of her way to help us… she was right on it when we needed help, most of the time asking us if we needed help before we could ask…. so cuddos and thank you to Kimberly . The food from the kitchen, shrimp and steak… was excellent. Over all the meal was good and the service was excellent, thanks to Kimberly. Bless her heart

I have fond memories of my grade school days where Sizzler was our go-to for Easter and birthday celebrations. So I was excited to go to this Sizzler when my sister and I were in town for the day.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were so friendly and kind.
Our server Makkiyah was great. She had our yummy cheese toasts at our table within moments of sitting down. And she kept checking our table to make sure we had enough drinks, cheese toasts, and all you can eat shrimp even before we needed it.
Pro-tip: our cashier recommended that we do medium rare if we wanted a medium consistency. So glad she recommended that. Our steak was perfect.
I’ve been to a couple of sizzler’s in the past 10 years and I was always disappointed that it wasn’t as a good as the one in my childhood memories.
This Sizzler definitely didn’t disappoint. Thanks for a great dinner!

We had an amazing experience at Sizzler. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Makkiyah was our waitress and provided gold-level attentive service from start to finish. She was friendly, patient, and always checked in at the perfect times without being intrusive. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out exactly as ordered, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed. Customer service like hers is rare—Sizzler is lucky to have her. We will definitely be back and hope to be seated in her section again!

Meal came out super quick! Prime rib burger was cooked exactly how I requested, and my drink arrived quickly. Vianney was our waitress and was very kind and helpful by checking up on us to make sure we were liking our food and our drinks. Update: We went again and this time our waitress was Deanna. She was a joy to have around and Always checked up on us to make sure our food was enjoyable. She was funny and very kind, as well as quick! This location definetly knows how to hire the right people 🙂 Once again, we made our way back to Sizzlers I got my usual order and it came out just as amazing as I expected! Our waitress this time around was Cassie! Cassie was so sweet ans well ans friendly and checked up on us frequently. Not only that, Cassie was informative and attentive making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal, as well as telling me about the Sizzlers eClub which comes with a ton of perks if you come to dine here often! Once again this location did not dissapoint. Thank you Cassie!

We always have a great experience at Sizzler. My steak was cooked just right and the sides were perfect. We are always especially excited when we have Cassie as our server. She really takes great care of us and remembers us and says hello. I miss the young man who was the manager maybe a couple years ago, he always used to take time to stop by the tables and check in. I love how they have gloves at the salad bar, that really is a special touch that I appreciate so much. Anyway, If you are lucky enough to get Cassie for your server, you will be well taken care of! Actually, all the servers do a great job and they all hustle, she’s just our favorite.

Sooooo expensive. Two of us for $95! The veggies at the salad bar tasted old, steak was bland and chewy, the Malibu chicken had a fishy taste and the piece of chicken was so small, like it belonged on a McChicken sandwich from McDonald’s The “toast” that was served was a slice of white bread , like Wonder Bread, with crispy cheese on top with an orange looking butter and the bottom was completely soft and mushy. I loved this place when I was young. Will never be back.

Kimberly was very kind and very great hospitality. Unfortunately what feel short for our visit was the lack of corrections from the kitchen. Many of our dinners were wrong or missing things. For the cost we paid for it was very disappointing. Get unlimited shrimp but it takes a very long time to get one dish!
