I had an excellent experience at the Denny’s in Mauston, Wisconsin. What really stands out about this location is the staff — they are incredibly kind, courteous, and always willing to help. You can clearly see that they work as a true team, communicating well and supporting each other to keep everything running smoothly.
The service alone is impressively speedy without ever feeling rushed. Orders come out on time, hot, and exactly how you expect them, and the food tastes great every time. On top of that, the late-night vibes are perfect — relaxed, welcoming, and just what you want when stopping in late.
This Denny’s consistently delivers great service, good food, and a positive atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and return to.

Was never offered a menu, nor was provided service. I was coming in for my birthday, but I guess the waitress doesn’t care to be of service. (They do have the right to “refuse service” but they simply did not provide service at all nor said they were refusing service)

Finally a Denny’s at the food is edible service was awesome food came out pretty fast and the potatoes were not overcooked and the egg wasn’t undercooked and it wasn’t too salty it was seasoned perfectly. We had an excellent experience at Denny’s. Our waitress was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal feel easy and enjoyable. The food was great and everything came out just the way we hoped. The prices are a little higher than I remember, but the quality of the service and the meal made it worth it.

It’s very rare to find a great place to eat where the food is good and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Today I found just the right spot, my food was amazing, the service the waitress Ms. Jessica provided was excellent. The Manager Matt was also such a wonderful help. Stopped by Denny’s and had a genuinely great experience. The food was exactly what you want from Denny’s. hot, fresh, and comforting but what really stood out was the service. My family and I like to attend Denny’s here in Mauston because of the fantastic waitresses and food. We are pleasantly greeted as soon as we walk in and can order right away. The food is delicious and we enjoy speaking with the staff. We dine here about 6-8 times a month and look forward to every visit. When it’s time to leave the staff wish us a good day.
The place is always clean and the waitress immediate attend to us if there are any issued with our food. They follow up often if we need water, soda or coffee refills, extra napkins, soda to go cups, take home boxes and ask us how the food is.
This is some excellent customer service! The staff truly do care about us and that means the world to me and my family. I like inviting our friends there as well. We will continue coming here for years to come.

Order to go food on our way out of town, the food was cold The presentation was not the greatest the pancakes weren’t cooked all the way through The meat was even cold in the omelet that we got, not very impressed especially since they weren’t that busy, definitely would not recommend for the cost of food and the service that we got, we read reviews on here and they said that it was good but not what I saw. Definitely could do a lot better on food. Especially for the price. This happened Friday 1/9/25
