We dropped by this place while visiting Miami on Christmas Day, and it turned out to be a great find. I can honestly say this was one of the best ravioli dishes I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, with a rich and superb ragù that really stood out. A big plus is that they make their pasta in-house, and you can actually see the process, which adds to the experience and appreciation of the food.
The service was excellent as well. Even as walk-ins on Christmas Day, we were seated immediately, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
I’m giving the atmosphere 3 stars, mainly because the seating feels more like dining within a mall setting. With a more refined or enclosed indoor space, the overall dining experience could be significantly elevated.

Tried this restaurant during the week so it was not super busy but the service was a little bit on the slow side (chalk it up to being Italian) lol. But the food was very delicious, we tried their ravioli pomodoro with ricotta, cacio e pepe pasta, and polpette al limone meatballs. The pasta was delicious, next time would try the regular meatballs instead!

Osteria de Fortunata at Miami Beach is a wonderful spot to enjoy a great meal in a beautiful setting. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and well prepared.
Hand made pasta. They made the pasta in front of you and the taste is wonderful
The burrata had a great flavor
We also ordered two pastas and dessert
The tiramisu is a must try

Osteria da Fortunata. It’s wasn’t actually what I was expecting, I always wanted to go there, since they make fresh pasta. But honestly my Carbonara wasn’t cooked enough. It was raw. And the Pesto pasta wasn’t good either. The Pomodoro was the only one good to eat. They don’t have Kids Menu, they charge the regular Water. It’s crazy. Overpriced and low quality food. The waitress attention awful, making unnecesary comments for someone that never being there, if i ask suggestions its because i will like to try the best, but the way he responded was unacceptable. I will never come back!

i truly mean this when i say it, this was the best pasta i’ve had in america.. and i’ve lived in NJ/NYC my entire life and have been to the best italian restaurants, as well as a family line of cooking amazing italian food. i moved to south florida 2 years ago and struggle to find great italian food down here. i visit italy/sicily yearly and what i ate today in miami is right up there with the food i’ve eaten family run spots in italy. my wife had the pesto pasta and i had the ragu (bolognese) and it was unbelievably tasty. we had the app with the fried zucchini, olives, rice balls and potato croquettes.. SO good. tiramisu was soft and creamy.. it was meant to be split with my wife but i devoured all of it. lastly, our server Gaetano was so pleasant and kind, and really made us feel like we were in a small restaurant in italy. miami is about an hour drive for us but we will absolutely be taking the drive down regularly after having tried this. lastly, normally after a meal like this i feel bloated and gross but i feel fantastic after dinner.. nothing better than authentic hand made pasta

The homemade pastas are delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are excellent. We ordered three different pastas to share:carbonara, bolognese and pesto and each one was better than the last one. I felt like I was eating in Italy.
The waiter Gitano was warm, friendly and attentive. Excellent food, service and outdoor seating all around. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had an amazing experience at Osteria Da Fortuna, a true little piece of Italy. The carbonara was absolutely delicious, creamy and perfectly authentic, just like in Rome. The pesto was another pleasant surprise, full of flavor and freshness, to finish, I tried the ricotta cheesecake and the mixed berries cheesecake, both smooth, delicate, and bursting with flavor, the service was outstanding, especially thanks to Luigi, who made the whole experience even more special with his kindness and attention. ❤️

I ordered the carbonara and it was one of maybe even the best carbonara I’ve ever had. All the waiters were really nice but especially this guy Gonzalo (I’m not sure if you spell it like that) but he was really fun, respectful, nice and talkative making the experience better overall. (He’s the third guy counting from left to right in the picture attached)

Osteria da Fortunata was an amazing experience from start to finish. The pasta is freshly made in front of you, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced—simple Italian recipes done right.
The atmosphere is lively and full of character, exactly what you expect from a traditional Roman trattoria. Despite being very popular, the service was efficient and welcoming, and the food came out quickly.
