As always, for me anyway, good food and friendly service. Heather is a very good server and you can tell she enjoys her work. Good comfort food for any time of day. Chicken fried steak, mashed taters and rice pilaf.

Went out with some friends last night to Denny’s to talk over some of our life and catch up a little bit. The service was lackluster. The young lady with the blonde hair skinny girl was less than enthusiastic never smiled once and didn’t provide the best service we could say, but that is not the point of this review. The review is specifically for the older woman that was in the Cook’s area says that she was the manager and had been the general manager in the past she came out of the kitchen so abruptly and aggressively to come turn the lightbulb on at our table, The light had been off at least 15 or 20 minutes already and only when I complained about the food, did anybody come out and they did not care about the issue that we had brought up they only cared about the lightbulb which was simply off due to my friend having cataract surgery and myself having neurological issues we decided it was too bright, and just turned the bulb Off it was clearly accessible from where we were seated very easy to reverse as we were leaving as we had planned on doing. the meal that was served to us was either undercooked or not cooked properly so we asked for it to be remade. It was remade, but not without much arguments about lightbulbs, which were not relevant to. The meal at all It took them all over 20 minutes to remake the meal while she stared at me glaring from the kitchen with a very nasty look on her face after it was made, I asked them to make it to go and for the check immediately the atmosphere was so terrible in the energy in the place was so aggressive as I left and sat in my car. I could see the manager come out from the kitchen, talking very loudly and pointing fingers in all directions abruptly in a very aggressive manner I don’t think I’ll be going there soon again I have been going there two times a week at minimum for the last few months and there is a lovely woman that is a server there that has made our experience great every time we go I don’t think that I will stop going there. I would like to give them another chance to reach out to me and rectify the issue. I threw all the food away after paying my bill and brought my business elsewhere had a nice chocolate bar instead

We have breakfast every weekend, staff is very friendly, food comes out fast and is always delicious. Any issues or substitutions are quickly resolved. Ariel and Leslie were are servers this last visit and were great!

Great breakfast at cottonwood Dennys this morning. The chicken fried steak was awesome and very tasty. The hash browns were delicious and crispy. Loved the Carmel cold brew. Our server Heather was fantastic and was so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was busy but everyone was happy and friendly. They did not miss a beat. The manager Chris was so involved with her team and very on top of her guests being happy. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was amazing. Thank you to the entire staff.

The overall experience was decent, but I am disappointed with the false advertisement of the specials menu. The photo clearly pictures waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage (a complete breakfast.) In reality, you can not order eggs and waffles together as both items are considered “main” dishes, and only one is allowed to order. The up charge for one egg is $3.79. I feel as though they should remove the photo to depict reality of what can be ordered on this specials menu.
With this being said, our waitress was extremely understanding and patient as we decided what to order. She mentioned she that had pointed out to her boss the confusion that will come from this photo listed on the menu, but no changes were made.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Denny’s in Cottonwood that I just had to share! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, clean, and inviting. The entire restaurant had a comfortable, positive vibe that made the meal even better.
A huge shoutout to our amazing waitresses, Ateal and Heather. Their service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to make our visit special, and you can tell they truly care about their customers.
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served hot. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly, and the portions were generous. You can always count on this Denny’s to get it right!
Between the fantastic service, great food, and the relaxed environment, this Denny’s has become one of my favorite local spots. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

Had breakfast at Cottonwood Denny’s this morning. The waffles were amazing as is the other food we have had here. The service is excellent and Ateil and Heather both gave me great service. The atmosphere here is so nice and relaxing, and the restrooms are so clean. I will definetly be back. Thanks again for the amazing food and service.

This is the best dennys to eat at in the Verde valley. The waitress and cooks are the best. The waitress always has what I’m asking for in her had before I even ask her. I absolutely love eating here. Fast, friendly and very family oriented.

The staff at this Denys gives awesome service and hospitality. The food is fantastic and always served in aquick manner. My server Ateil is a 5 star server and is always so accommodating. The restaurant is so clean and I will definitely return. Great service, great atmosphere, awesome food what more can you ask for.
