McKenzie the waiter was excellent and polite. Food was prepared as ordered. Drinks were made very well. Service was fast including refills from the bar. Calamari was cooked to perfection. Filet and lobster was priced appropriately $68 surf and turf during my visit market price item. Ribeye was exactly what you would want medium to look like. Bolognese was fire as my friend tells me. I would recommend this place 10/10. Give McKenzie a raise.

I didn’t know that this place was in a hotel, so if you’re not into that…still give it a shot!

Atmosphere was gorgeous. We sat at the bar but the seats in the dining room looked super comfortable.

Food was great. Lots of choices but I could only eat so much! Tried the bruschetta sampler and the beet one was amazing. I had to fight my family for each piece of calamari I could get. My prime rib was cooked at the right temperature and I ate everything on my plate.

Definitely would go back. I would recommend it for a fancy date, girls night, or in the mood for a nice grown up meal. Pricey if you’re drinking and doing more than one course but it’s worth it.

I visited Maine back in August, and here I am in March still thinking about this place almost every week, that’s how good it was. I ordered the chicken salad, and without exaggeration, it was the best I’ve ever had. It’s officially my new standard for comparison whenever I order chicken salad anywhere else.

I truly can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re anywhere nearby, make the stop. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can go back.

We had an amazing dinner here and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The atmosphere was absolutely impeccable; warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a relaxed vibe that made it perfect for a night out. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome.

The only downside was the wait, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes for our food, which was a bit of a bummer. That said, once the food arrived, it completely won us over. Every dish was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. You could tell a lot of care and attention went into the preparation.

Despite the delay, the food and overall ambiance more than made up for it. We’ll definitely be back and maybe just come with a little extra patience next time. Highly recommend!

Great food and really nice atmosphere at Timber Kitchen. The lobster was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly, although the wait time was a bit longer than expected. Overall, a very good experience and definitely worth visiting.

It was amazing food the most perfect dinner for our trip up to Bangor, I was nervous when I saw it was apart of the hotel but it did not disappoint. With a gluten allergy find good and safe food can be difficult and this place should set the standard. A whole menu separated with gluten free options for every dish and appetizer. I could have eaten the whole menu. The buffalo dip, to the steak dinner, to the perfect trio of crème brûlée. This was one of the best meals of my life. Alivia was great with impeccable service. Atmosphere was great but we were at a table against a window of a private room and had awkward moments of eye ci tact and points through. But overall was a fantastic place I would 100% travel back to Bangor just to visit here again

I stayed at the hotel and ordered dinner both nights! The pizza on my first night was overcooked and underwhelming. But I took a chance (Okay I was being lazy) and got the shrimp cocktail, scallops and peanut butter ball!!! Omg it totally made up for everythingggg! Freah, hot and tasty! Loved it.

The seafood chowder was hearty and filling, the fish and chips were average. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was okay, but very loud. My party of 4 was seated at tables meant for 2 or 3 people, no room on the table. And the quarters were so tight we were being bumped by waitstaff or other guest. Suggest you wait for the right tables to accommodate your party.

Awesome place, first time I stopped in i had the pizza and it was cooked perfectly in a firebrick oven. The second time I had the lobster roll, classic maine dish with flavorful and fresh lobster. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, overall awesome place.

We loved this place! We were seated on the patio with our pup who got a bowl of water at the same time we got our waters. The lights were pretty along with the fireplace. They have massive heaters and the blankets were such a nice touch as well.

The food was amazing! I had scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The bf had the timber burger with fries which were also amazing.

We love the whole experience. It was a perfect way to cap off a great day and will absolutely make this a stop when we make it back to Maine.

(The pup doesn’t look happy, but it’s just his face. The wagging tail said otherwise.)
