Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered the wrap and sub with grilled chicken and add jalapenos. They kept the tender and grilled chicken together and charged me another $4. Making it a $8 wrap. I tried to stay and explain and get the correct order. But i left after the 30 minute wait in line already. I went back today to get a refund with a picture of the food. They said you have to call and return the food item same day. I wasn’t going to drive back in that ice and hold the food all night when I had a picture. So I proceeded to ask again with the manager, which she couldn’t speak any real english and had her cashier translating. No resolution and no refund. Never going back there.

I have to give this Whataburger a bad review. If I could choose to put no stars, I would. I’m usually very understanding of life and people and what they might go through. But the way I was treated this morning was absolutely shocking and mind blowing… I went early in the morning because it was right next to the motel I was staying at. I knew that there sign had said the dining room opened at 6.. I got there at 6:09 and the shift leader or manager, Gavin is his name, had told my friends and I it opens at 6:30.. so we waited for 30 more min. We were freezing cold and just anticipating getting some breakfast. They could see us airing by the door outside just cold and hungry. He then said, they will not open til 7. We are still cold and hungry. I felt very disrespected and still feel upset. I hope to never have to have this kind of experience again.

Normally when I stop by for breakfast, it’s always hot and fresh. This morning I went so fast through the drive thru and the reason was the food was probably already prepped and sitting for a while. The hash browns weren’t very hot and the chicken biscuit was hard. I was disappointed for the first time since coming here.

I found hair in my food. To be honest I would have preferred my money refunded, but instead they said they would replace my order. I went inside and all of a sudden it was only the burger they were gonna replace. I told them I found the hair in the fries or burger . I wasn’t sure which one it came from, because I put my fries on my burger . When I went to take a bite after putting fries on my burger. I saw the hair sticking out . Gross!! Anyways instead of replacing my whole meal like I was told I barely got fries with the replaced burger, and not even my shake was replaced, Again I just wanted my money back. I asked for the district manager’s phone number and a woman that said she was a high up manager was just as skeptically dense as the person who was replacing my meal. Like bro. It’s Whataburger not your own business. These managers and employees nowadays don’t even know what good customer service truly is. I was completely respectful in addressing the “hair” situation, but don’t lie to me when I even took a picture of the hair I pulled out of my FOOD! Just bite it and do a good job of making it right with the customer, especially when like I said I just wanted a refund. I mean finding someone else’s hair in your food is downright gross!

It was ok. Did the drive thru for breakfast, dirty outside but I asked in advamc3d if the breakfast biscuit was fresh and soft and she said yes. We get the biscuit and its hot and hard. I went inside and asked for my money back and low and behold…they had the soft, fresh ones available.

Mali delivered my food curbside and had such great energy and attitude! She helped another costumer that had her hands full to her car and was so happy to help! She saw me getting out of my car because something was missing and immediately told me she would get it for me instead! You can tell she likes helping people! Please recognize this woman and give her a raise!

Maria at the counter is the sweetest!!! People were being rude and she continued to smile and have such a positive attitude! This isn’t our whataburger but we would definitely come back for Maria’s customer service!
