I love this place! I’ve been coming here since 2016 and the food is still as fantastic as the first time! The service has always been and continues to be stellar. One of my favorite places to eat in the valley. If you want authentic Mediterranean food and a cool little place to eat it, this is the place for you. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert, the baklava, halva, and Turkish Delight are superb!

The flavor of the food is very well balanced, fresh, delicious and made with care. The effort the staff puts into the food really shines through. The products choose for their mini mark look like they were also chosen with quality and freshness in mind. The music has a good volume to have a conversation with friends and the place is clean, well kept, and organized. You won’t regret making a stop here. Definitely top 3 Mediterranean restaurant in the valley. A must try!

If you’re a little adventurous this may be the place for you. Authentic Mediterranean food at its best. The atmosphere is part grocery store, part restaurant, part cafe style service. The party I went with thought it was a bit quirky, but in a very pleasant, welcoming way. We loved it. And the food was awesome. We all left happy and anxious to return.

I’m used to getting plenty of garlic sauce with my falafel, so paying $0.75 for a small cup here was a bit disappointing. That said, the falafel plate and feta fries were excellent—the food was delicious overall, and they serve Pepsi products.

If you don’t want to read a long review then just look at the photo. The gyro is so so small. But here’s the review if you like literary wonders:
WEAK attempt at gyros. It was Sunday, and George’s Gyros was closed, but I was craving a good gyro, so we decided to try this place. It has 4.7 stars after all. It’s gotta be good right?
The deluxe gyro was only $1 more than the regular one, so I ordered 3 for takeout. Mistake. They put pickles on those and pickles make a gyro not taste like a gyro.
Their website ordering process doesn’t work. Once you put in your order and credit card and hit submit you just get the spinning circle ⭕ or the hourglass ⌛ depending on you phone, PC, or browser. After two attempts I just called. I won’t be surprised if I get two additional charges on my card though.
They still could have pulled off a 5 star review. But the gyros themselves were crap. When they handed me my to go bag I thought to myself “did they get all of them in here?”
In hindsight, I should have looked, seen how unbelievably tiny these gyros were, and told them I wasn’t paying for that crap. But you know how things go. You give people the benefit of the doubt. They have 4.7 stars after all.
Now, look at the damn photo! Look at that! The lighter is half the size of the freaking gyro! It’s seriously smaller than a thick hotdog on a fluffy bun. And the flavor wasn’t even good either. Though there was so little meat I couldn’t really gage the meat flavor.
I promise you I’m not affiliated with George in any way. But if you’re in Mesa, or a part of Scottsdale or Tempe that’s close to Mesa, go to George’s Gyros. You’ll get a real gyro that has tons of meat.
This place was seriously such a disappointment! I wish to hell Gyro 101 would have answered the phone because at least there’s a chance they’d have been as good as George’s.

The food here is always amazing with flavorful meat, soft pita, creamy hummus, and perfectly fluffy rice. The salad balances everything out nicely and makes the meal feel complete. I also tried the Greek fries for the first time and they were just as tasty as the rest.

I recently visited Princess Pita Mediterranean Restaurant & Market in Mesa for their Ramadan buffet, and it was honestly one of the best Ramadan buffet experiences I’ve had. Everything about the evening felt welcoming, organized, and full of great food.
First, the variety of food was incredible. There were so many different dishes to choose from that it was almost overwhelming in the best way possible. They had a great selection of traditional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, from fresh salads and appetizers to hearty main dishes and desserts. Everything tasted very fresh and well-prepared, and you could tell the food was being constantly refilled and maintained so guests always had hot, fresh options available.
The flavor of the food was outstanding. The meats were cooked perfectly and very tender, the rice dishes were flavorful, and the appetizers like hummus, salads, and other mezze were clearly made with care. The desserts were also a highlight — a great way to finish the meal after breaking fast. It really felt like they put thought into creating a buffet that represents the spirit of Ramadan.
Another thing that stood out was the organization of the buffet. Even though it was busy (as you would expect during Ramadan), everything ran smoothly. The staff was very attentive and constantly making sure the buffet stayed clean and well stocked. Plates were cleared quickly, tables were cleaned regularly, and the entire environment felt comfortable and welcoming.
The service was excellent. The staff members were friendly, hardworking, and clearly experienced with hosting large Ramadan crowds. Despite the restaurant being full, they remained patient and helpful with everyone.
What I appreciated most was the community atmosphere. Ramadan is about gathering and sharing meals together, and Princess Pita really captured that feeling. Families, friends, and community members were all there enjoying the evening together, which made the experience feel even more special.
Overall, the Princess Pita Ramadan buffet is absolutely worth visiting. The food is delicious, the variety is great, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
