This was my first visit and I really loved it!
1.The lighting was perfect, not in your face bright, has a tavern feel and very comfortable
2. The wait staff and Gen. The manager was very helpful and attentive. Made me feel very welcomed and appreciated.
3. Music is not too loud to have a conversation
4. The place is very clean! A+
5. The food was very good! All American traditional dishes.
6. The ambiance in general is very pleasant.
7. Everything looks very organized and temperature was pleasant
8. They have good homemade desserts
Overall I was not disappointed coming here, ( although this place has a long history here but I finally came to check it out )
if you are ever in Pasadena or near Pasadena, I suggest you come here and have someone with you to relax and enjoy the food and conversation

Quaint, little restaurant… it’s been around for quite a while. The interior was a bit dated. BUT the service and food were great. Tamara, our server, was so friendly and kind. Make sure you ask for the rolls with butter! They are served warm and fluffy! I had the spinach salad with grilled chicken along with the hot bacon ranch dressing—So very tasty and all fresh veggies! Hubs had the lunch special of chopped steak with onion and mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes. He said his lunch was good.

We’ve lived here for 4 years now and had driven by the place countless times saying we should try it some time and we finally went and finally found out that we weren’t missing anything. The tables, carpet, bathroom fixtures etc and decor clearly haven’t been updated for quite some time. The food was not impressive for its price point it just didn’t seem to taste right I would’ve expected it to be better than it was. The service was about the only thing that was good, she was friendly and attentive.

Great service. Great food! Older crowd, but the new manager is looking to revamp the menu & cocktails! So expect a new age spin on this retro restaurant. I had a great time at the bar before my family showed. Where we then had a great meal and laughs with a great overall vibe. 10/10 recommend can’t wait to go back.
