My family and I visited this restaurant today as a group of 7 after attending a graduation ceremony. The food was delicious, the service was brilliant and parking was simple. Thank you for a great meal.

Went yesterday lunch time. Wish I had not bothered as I have not been here for years. Nothing has much changed. We had to send chicken melt with bacon back as it was not cooked. Chicken raw. Ruined both our dinners as i ate my pie while we awaited a replacement !
Nice welcome when we arrived. Food average at best for the money. Place was not even busy. I will never return here again.
Best avoid is my advice.

Given its a beefeater I am pretty impressed. Food is very reasonable and if you can get yourself a discount code then it can be very good value for your money. I’ve been for breakfast and evening meals. Breakfast is table service where you pick what you want and they bring it to you. I believe there is bottomless hot drinks along with the option to top up on the continental breakfast wears to.
Evening meals are worth booking at busier times but they will accommodate you if they have the space. A fair amount of parking but remember to register your car plate on entering via the digital pad

We arrived not booking a table and the gentleman serving us took us straight to a table. We didn’t wait long for drinks order to be taken and food order soon after. We had 2 course meal and drinks and was less than £60. Staff were lovely and polite and nothing was too much trouble. A definite thumbs up and we will be returning very soon.

Rude and grumpy staff..food is expensive and portions are small. £22 for this meal and a coke. My local pub does good quality home made food and a pint for about the same price and a friendly service. Won’t be visiting here again.

Food was nice recommend the salmon, the older waitress was lovely the younger brunette was quite rude. Great food though decent rooms also at the premier in although smelled a little musty it was a clean room and powerful shower if you buy a meal deal you still have to pay extra surcharges which is a shame really

Booked for 3pm on Sunday.
Arrived on time.
Restaurant very quiet with few people.
Shown to table and told someone would take orders shortly.
Waited over 20 minutes before someone came to take drinks order. No pleasantries just “want you want” ?
After drinks served in a matter of fact manner waited a further 20 minutes for same colleague to take meals order.
We particularly wanted the Sunday Roast and told ” sold out” ” have to be here before 12.00 for the Sunday Roast !!
Ordered the upgraded sirloin mixed grill x 2.
Other than ” how you want it cooked” no other questions on kind of chips or add on sauces ( previous visit much more helpful waitress )
Meals arrived with one steak over cooked ( medium / well done ) and very tough.
Other meal ( medium ) cooked ok but with a lot of fatty and gristle non edible ( see pic)
On collecting empty plates and questioning the tough meat “I apologise”
Asked for the chef’s response but no feedback
Overall the service was poor with a dis-interested team member and unhelpful attitude ( twice had to ask for additional sauces )
Whole atmosphere was un-cared for and not a pleasant memory.

We came here for a meal with our grandchildren and it was awful. Very poor service, long waits and when the food arrived it was tiny portions (adult meals) 3 of us had burgers, which were dry, tiny and very overcooked. On arrival the front of house looked annoyed that we had arrived! When waiting for food, which all came out at different times, so we weren’t eating together, at all, we were ignored by the boy serving. The prices do not fit the quality by any stretch of the imagination! Had we not been waiting for so long, and with children, all the food would have gone back. I did make a complaint after via their feed back form. We were offered no form of compensation just a half hearted apology! We definitely won’t be returning and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Dreadful!
