I ordered online & pre-paid. They couldn’t find my order for about 5 minutes. Then they did and I had to wait an additional 15 mins. Then it turns out they missed 2 of my items that were paid for. So basically they screwed me out of 2 items.

Food is still the same quality as i have experienced from a LJS over the years. The inside of the building could use a refresh. They have installed the ‘order kiosks’ for non cash orders, so use the app to order ahead instead if using credit. Ps if entering from the side near giant eagle be prepared for an overly loud shrill door opening noise.( I don’t do good with high pitched noises and it hurts my ears).

#5 Value Meal. 2 Fish, Hush puppies, Corn, Fries

Fish 8/10 Fresh, flaky, crispy, hot
Hushpuppies 5/10 Filling, uninspiring
Corn 4/10 Boiled right, tastes ok
Fries 4/10 Mostly done well
Shrimp 8/10

This location is a drive thru next to the Giant Eagle. Getting in and out is treacherous. I felt like a Pirate.

Staff is warm and friendly. I asked for extra Malt Vinegar and got it. The Malt Vinegar makes all the difference on the fries and kicks them up to a 6/10 if you drench ’em.

Atmosphere 2/10 Feels and looks like an abandoned building by Century III.

But they do the fish and chicken right.
The main entrees, are always consistent.
The sides felt like they were sitting out all day.
How do I know? I got my order in under 5.

At times like these, I feel like we are hard-pressed to find surviving A&W/LJS locations left that are in good condition. It was nice to kick back in a fast food eatery that I visited in my childhood, and the service was excellent. The (I can only assume) manager came to our table while we dined to ask how our meals were like any fine dining establishment, and the food was great. All served to a nice warm temperature with all of the condiments available. Only downside is some of the interior was looking a tad worn, and the little girl on the mural in the center of the store gave me the heeby jeebies. The server working at the counter gets mad bonus points for laughing at my pirate impersonation whilst I ordered my strarrrrrrrberry lemonade (which was delightful btw). We rang the bell for good service on our way out.

I always go through the drive through and the staff is very pleasant. I love the fresh hush puppies that I get. My son enjoys the salmon and rice. I feel the food I get is fresh every time.

I was at drive thru this afternoon for take out. I ordered two two-piece fish dinners (two pieces of fish, two hush puppies, and waffle fries for each meal). The employee taking my order and my payment was the most pleasant experience of my visit. She deserves five stars!!! Had it not been for appointments I had after picking up my food, I would have returned it immediately. None of the food had any flavor other than the salt I sprinkled onto it. Everything tasted the same, as if I was eating paper napkins. This is by far the worst meal I received at this establishment. And now, after reading the previous reviews of how dirty the inside of the restaurant is convinces me to avoid patronizing you.

Do better. Your customers deserve it.

Ordered two sea shares at drive thru. Chicken and shrimp. Only waited about 5 minutes at window when bag was handed to me. Drove straight home and when I opened bag there was no napkins, no condiments, the shrimp were small and tasted like they were cooked the day before. The chicken looked like battered fish and also possibly cooked the night before. This isn’t the first time I’ve received poor service and food at this location. Guess I have to travel to the one in Tarentum/New Kensington from now on. Never had bad food or service at that location. They are 30 minutes away but worth the drive now.
