First time visiting Cracker Barrel, passing through from Fresno to Anaheim. Mom has aways wanted to eat here after seeing commercials on TV. Sadly no Cracker Barrel in Fresno. The location was very nice and old school vibes, which mom loved. Of course we shopped at the little store inside before being seated for breakfast. They had a lot of nice items. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. I would definitely suggest visiting if you haven’t.

Only one of five Cracker Barrels in California and this one did not disappoint. Our waitress Stacey was phenomenal. So friendly to everyone. I was craving both pecans and chocolate chips in my pancakes and they made it happen! So delicious.

Service n food we’re awesome. This is one of our go to places when back home in Texas and to our surprise, our server was a fellow Texan herself. Hope to be back on our next trip through the streets of Bakersfield.

Christmas is in the air at Cracker Barrel! Try some seasonal foods, shop for gifts, and/or relax on a rocking chair between holiday errands. Fun place!

Another great experience with Cracker Barrel. The food was hot and fresh with amazing service. Even with a large group covering two tables our server saw to our every need. This is a great location right off the highway. If you’re passing through Bakersfield it’s worth the stop.

We stopped by for breakfast. The place was packed on this Sunday morning and over the holiday. Surprisingly, we didn’t have to wait for a table at all. The food was as delicious as ever, and the price and menu were excellent! The gift shop was so cute and had great prices. The staff was amiable and helpful. What a great experience!

on a road trip we stopped in Bakersfield for the night. We don’t have a Cracker Barrel location close to our home so we thought we would dine here. Upon entering you are greeted by the gift shop which had a little of everything, from food, old fashioned candy to a few clothing items and toys for the kids. The hostess that seated us was pleasant and asked us if it was our first time visiting.. As the last time we ate at cracker barrel was 20 years ago and it was out of state, we told her yes it was. She welcomed us and seated us at our table quickly. Beverages arrived quickly as did our choice of warm cornbread. Our meal arrived shortly after with our choice of 2 sides. You can order 3 sides for an upgraded price. The meals were hot and tasty, the fried catfish wasn’t greasy and was lightly breaded in corn meal. The hash browns were a little salty for my taste. The side salad was crisp and had extra toppings. For desert the warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream was very good also. Portions were just enough as we were able to finish all of our meal. As a first time guest we received a goodie bag with a box of chocolate covered raspberry sticks and a small inflatable ball. That was a nice touch.

Try the Ham (that has a perfect cinnamon scented) with Fried Apples !!!
This place is a classic and always a crowd. The food is priced better than any chain dining chain I have seen. And across the country the taste at all Cracker Barrel is consistently good!

This location had some of the nicest crew on this side of the west. Jocy was very friendly, and attentive. This was first time actually getting dinner, I usually stick to breakfast at these type restaurants. I have to admit, I was very surprised at how good the food was. I picked up the sampler which had fried shrimp, fried chicken striped strips, steak tip strips, with a side of biscuits. Really good, at an affordable price. Overall good food, a good amount of parking and friendly staff will guarantee that I will be back to this location.
