Great Customer Service. 5 star
Atmosphere 2 Star. Music too loud. Not a night club. Other employees except my server (older gentleman) walk around with a not so friendly face. As if they are annoyed & don’t want to be there. This is my 3rd time & noticed this the 2 other times. Employee eating at a table, while the have guest that they should be attending. As well as either a married couple or dating & focused on each other versus attending guests.
Paid $15 for a large bowl of menudo that seems more of a small. More juice than anything. Big chunks of meat & a few hominey. Salty more than anything, didn’t taste as fresh. Coffee was the same. My experience was on a Saturday 10:30a.m

I wanted to leave no stars because service, food, and management were awful. I asked my family to take me for my birthday to Carnitas Queretaro. I’ve been to this location before and it used to be good. Omg it was the worst I food, service and management resolution I had ever had. My food was cold, my husband’s chicken tasted like it was cooked the day before and just heated up for his order. The waiter was lost and gave bad customer service. Then to top it off my daughter was sick after her meal. My husband asked to speak to the manager and we waited over 15 mins. She did not show up. Once the waiter came back my husband reminded him that he had asked to speak to the manager. I guess the waiter never let the manager know or the manager didn’t bother with the request. Once the manage did show up she was having a hard time talking and gave a lame resolution. She offered a desert! What a joke! We didn’t want free anything. We wanted her to speak to her staff. None the less, we just asked for our bill, paid and left. I won’t ever go to Carnitas Queretaro for any reason.
Omg!! I had to edit my review. I just found out that 4 of my family members got sick!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

First time here. I can only speak for the carnitas, pero que sabrosa! Very delicious. I’ll probably get in trouble for saying this, but they were every bit as good as my wife’s standard carnitas recipe (but not as good as her “old fashioned” carnitas). I think the tortillas are hand made, but not sure on that. They’re very good, though. Service at the bar seemed a little slow, but the food was worth it. Also, las salsas son bien picosas. Like actually spicy, not “white people spicy”. I appreciated that. Will definitely be back, and with my wife next time.

I had a wonderful experience dining here. The service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, which really made the visit enjoyable.
The food overall was very delicious. The standout dish was definitely the pozole—rich, flavorful broth and incredibly tender meat that practically melted in my mouth. It was comforting and satisfying in every way.
I also tried the Plato México, which had a nice variety and was tasty overall. However, the enchilada and chile arrived a bit cold, which took away from the full experience. That said, the flavors were still on point, and I’d be happy to give it another try.
Looking forward to coming back—especially for that pozole!

That was some of the most mid food and service I’ve ever had. Flautas were cold and underwhelming. Waiter was friendly, but had zero sense of urgency. I almost fell asleep waiting for my check. I’d rather dine in at a Taco Bell than eat there ever again. $4 margs are the only good thing happening here.

Dec 29, 2024 Mediocre food !
I’m surprised that you have such an “Americanized” Mexican cuisine in El Paso.
I had Carne Asada and it comes with a baked potato on a side (first surprise). I’ve asked to substitute it with rice and beans, was told it’s gonna be an extra $2. I was OK with paying more. But was not OK with the amount of the side order. There were literally one spoon of rice and another spoon of beans (not cool at all – second surprise) Both, the beans and the rice tasted unpleasant. The carne was alright, nothing extraordinary. My check was $30 (which I consider too high for such a mediocre quality and amount of food). I left another $5 for tips. Their chips did not taste like corn, it might be cause they were socked in very old veggie oil. They even did not bring red salsa. It was some green gooey stuff, tasted like mayo. Bottom line – OVERPRICED place, NOT WORTH of visiting. Will never come back. For that amount of money you may have bigger and tastier steak at any Texas Roadhouse and/Longhorns restaurants.

Great service. We’re seated right away. Arrived after 8 pm and had great service. Food had good taste. Beans were a little hard. Shrimp cocktail was tasteful although it had a little too much chopped celery. The Asado burrito was delish.

Very good Adobada and Soppapillas. Salsa was delicious. Handmade corn tortillas were superb.

After few years of not visiting, I ordered to go the enchiladas suizas and they were delicious, one side can be chosen from rice, refried beans or charro beans. I picked the refried beans and they hit the spot. I am planning on going back soon. While waiting at the bar I was offered a soft drink. I didn’t have to wait long at all.

One of my favorite places in El Paso, it is a great place to eat, all the food is super great flavor, and the salsas are the most delicious in the area. Service is fast and waiters are attentive all the time
