This place is a local gem — a super popular homemade ice cream shop that definitely lives up to the hype. I tried the Butter Beer ice cream, and it was such a fun, unique flavor! Think butterscotch with a subtle root beer twist — surprisingly smooth and not overpowering. My husband went for the chocolate vanilla twist, which was incredibly creamy and well-balanced. What we both loved most was that the ice cream wasn’t overly sweet — just the right amount. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving something cool and special!

After a fun day of apple picking, we stopped by this ice cream shop that had lots of great reviews, and it certainly lived up to them! The value for the price was fantastic—we got two scoops each for around $16-$18 total. The portions were huge, and I couldn’t even finish mine because it was so much ice cream!
I highly recommend the pistachio and toffee flavors, but with so many options, you might find it hard to choose just one. Even though there was a line when we arrived, the service was quick, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth the stop for a sweet treat!

This is what hometown ice cream should be! Delicious, rich housemaid ice cream with lots of flavor choices.(They aren’t crazy adventurous with flavor profile, but you won’t run out of options.)
The prices are little lower than some of other local shops around, and they are generous with their portions.
They were friendly and efficient.
It had been a few years since we stopped by and I won’t let it go that long again!
The totem pole is also pretty cool!

This place really surprised me. I am not a huge fan of super sweet desserts, and the flavors here aren’t too sugary (It’s a compliment!). The balance was perfect-rich and creamy. Definitely worth a visit.

I’ve had mini-ice cream cups from here in the past but came here for the first time a few weeks ago, and it didn’t disappoint! I LOVE all of the soft serve flavors that they offer – no other place offers that many flavor options – and it’s appreciated since I have trouble breaking down hard/regular ice cream. Whether I’m feeling a little vanilla with vanilla soft serve and rainbow sprinkles, or on an adventure with mint soft serve and chocolate chips, Cliff’s doesn’t disappoint. Next, it would be great to see some dole whip options! 😉 Staff here is generally friendly and fast.

We’re more than half way thru our NJ Ice Cream Tour and Cliff’s was a delicious stop! This is not a “hidden gem” considering the line LOTS of people know about it – and the praise is well deserved. Lots of flavors! The ice cream was creamy and flavorful, the scoops very generous. Service was great, friendly and fast and patient
Lots of kids and families. Lots of parking on site. Picnic tables arranged around the building, some in shady places, a plus on these hot days.

Cliff’s Homemade Ice Cream is hands down the best ice cream shop in the area. I always find myself coming back for either a large soft-serve vanilla ice cream or their cookies and cream milkshake—both are so good! The ice cream is creamy and flavorful, and the milkshakes are perfectly thick and satisfying. On top of that, the customer service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. While I wouldn’t say it’s the best ice cream I’ve had in all of New Jersey, it’s definitely a local favorite and a spot I highly recommend checking out!

Double bad!! Got diarrhea from soft serve ice cream! Also portion size has gone down hill, $7 for regular cup, had big air pockets in bottom of cup and portion size is at best 2/3 of what used to be in prior years.
