Atmosphere was nice. BBQ cheese fries wasn’t of my taste. Cheese was hot and fries were room temp warm. I just ate the top where cheese was place. Corn nuggets where hot and good always. Baked beans where hot and good too.

My daughter brought us dinner for my 70th birthday. My sweet potato was burnt and was very black. One of the other dinners had corn as the side and it was burnt also. I called the store manager and he argued I’ve left a message for the corporate office. We eat at Bono’s 3 to 4 times a month, but I won’t eat there again since the manager argued with me.

Ok, gonna be honest. The pork was excellent. The sides were great. Loved them all. Nice quality and large sizes. But the brisket was horrible. It was really tough. There wasn’t much of a bark on it like you get from the Texas joints. I don’t think it had cooked long enough to let the fat break down or let the crispy bark form. So outside of the brisket I had, I’ll still give it 5 stars because everything else was good and the service was great.

11 hour shift tired, sore, and hungry right now. I’m treating myself to a char-grilled chicken sandwich with corn nuggets. I got to tell you – I’m smiling right now. The aroma filling up my whole kitchen right now is just perfect. This sandwich is thick and hearty. I’m dunking it in the Low County Gold sauce and irs hitting the spot. I really appreciate this not letting me down. I love the combination. It’s all savory sweet! Thank you Bono’s.

This was our first time getting food from here. We ordered takeout. The food was ready very quickly, the service at the counter was exceptional, and everything was prepared correctly. It also looked like a pretty neat place for a meal. Unfortunately, the food could have been better. Well nothing particular was wrong, it just wasn’t remarkable. The macaroni and cheese was pretty bad. I would not turn down a gift card to them, and I don’t know I would make it a point to go back.

Bono’s has good food, there is no denying it! But they need to check drive thru orders better. I ordered a large 2 meat combo, with Mac & cheese & onion rings, added a sausage link & an extra order of garlic toast. This is a lot of food for me & will last me 3 meals. I wanted the extra garlic toast for those meals. Not only was my order of garlic toast not in my order but the piece of garlic toast they gave me must have been put in the microwave 6 times. I couldn’t bite into it or chew it. They really need to do better. And no, I wasn’t going back to get the rest of my order, I shouldn’t have to. They need to do better.
