Good food. Staff was nice, and patient with us as first timers. Jalapeño & cheese grits were creamy and flavorful. Mac & cheese was decent. Pulled pork was good. 4 BBQ sauce options: mild (sorta sweet), hot, mustard, vinegar. Affordable. Banana pudding was excellent. Pork rinds were crispy and flavorful, too. There’s an area for private parties, fire pit, bags.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic both in the food and atmosphere! This was my family’s first time in the whole state of South Carolina, saw The Smokin’ Pig as we were driving and decided to stop/give it a try (so happy we did!) Will be recommending this restaurant to everyone we know residing in other states nearby as it is definitely worth the drive! Thank you again to the whole staff today for being so kind and welcoming us to the state in the most unforgettably amazing way! EVERYTHING was 10/10!

Everything was great but the jalapeno cheddar grits stole the show for me.
I got the chicken and brisket with grits and potato casserole. Brisket was excellent. Chicken was great too although I was expecting dark meat. Def recommend eating and visiting the beer garden out back!

Brandy was our server and was AWESOME! She asked if we were first time visitors (we were) and made sure to help us choose the right things. We got the pork, rib, and brisket tray along with potato casserole and mac & cheese. She also brought us some Brunswick Stew (delicious!) and jalapeño cheese grits (also wonderful!) The ribs were the star of the show followed by the pork and then the brisket. We tried four different sauces and liked the spicy tomato based sauce the best. Will definitely go back. Super cool vibe with outside activities available. Thanks Brandy!!

Came to visit from Detroit. Best bbq ever! Cheese grits are great and I don’t even like grits! Stew is to die for and the sweet potato crunch was my fav! My so. Is in love with the loaded potato casserole and boyfriend loved the flavorful ribs…. Only complaint were the flies and I think they just wanted some wonderful bbq too!

The Smokin’ Pig of Pendleton is THE Local BBQ joint. Our first time ordering take-out and they had our order ready within 30 minutes or less.
We both had to try the sliced brisket plate as our first experience, and boy did it impress! Absolute melt in your mouth smoked to perfection. The BBQ sauce was not even needed but was a tasty supplement regardless.
The sides also stood out to us. The Mac and Cheese, Jalepeno Cheddar Grits, and Sweet Potato Casserole & Fries were all on point. The Mac and Cheese took me to another dimension of taste.
Yeah, we will be back.

This place was great for barbecue! They were packed. Had to wait a little bit to get in but once they took my order and I was seated . This was definitely some of the best food! Pulled pork sandwich was nice and hot. They had terrific sauces, and the peach cobbler was amazing.

My husband and my first time here. We really enjoyed our meal here. So delicious. We been eating at different BBQ’s. This was the best tasting pork BBQ! Our waitress, was awesome! All the staff were very friendly! She check in often, see if we needed anything.
We thought it was just a shack to dine in. Oh my goodness, they have huge place setup behind and is a great atmosphere. Have cornhole games and beautiful fireplace setting. Definitely will come back! Thanks for the take out Pork rinds, after I asked if they are made there. I give 10 Star!

What a neat area and delicious BBQ!
We ordered a rib plate that came with fries (well seasoned, crispy and seemed to be handout. for afters, we chose banana pudding.
yallll, the ribs were fall of the bone tender. I chose the carolina mustard. It was a grwat choice. The fries were well seasoned, crisp and delicious. The banana pudding was thick with flavor & creaminess. I’d have more cookies in it but, I enjoy the texture that more cookies brings to banana pudding. Flavor was top tier.
After leaving The Smoking Pig, we walked past the large gathering space right next to it that had a huge fire pit, outside games and a unique bathroom situation. I was highly impressed by the bathroom situation. from the outside it looks like a shipping container, but when you go inside it, it’s temperature controlled, extremely clean well-stocked and the bathroom is didnt expect.
it was very clean, smelled great, cooled nicely and spacious!!
it is going to be a great place to gather in the fall and winter.

This place has the best BBQ pulled pork sandwich in the United States! We found this in College while at Clemson. My wife and I have traveled to almost all 50 states and this is the absolute best! Their sides are amazing and we love the potato salad! You have to check it out!
