Great food. No, incredible food…
Walked in during a saturday night around 7pm and it was busy. Probably a 5-10 min wait for a table for 2.
Dining room is large and clean, plenty of room to accommodate a variety of party sizes.
We had the walnut shrimp, and the Mongolian beef. Turned them into a combo for +$5.50 (worth it).
The portion size was more than fair. We took home two boxes as we couldn’t finish it. Currently eating the leftovers as I write this.
Cost for 2 was just shy of $65. Honestly not bad at all.
The food was outstanding.
The service was outstanding.
10/10 would recommend.
Oh, bonus points for those of you born before 1995. There’s a payphone in the same strip mall. Thought it was cool to see in 2025

Wong’s Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and always served hot. Every dish we tried tasted homemade with authentic flavors and generous portions. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweet and tangy, and the Mongolian beef was tender and savory. The fried rice was packed with flavor and not greasy at all.
Service was excellent too!!!! friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for family dinners or a casual night out. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food with consistently great service, Wong’s is the spot. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!
PS. That’s soup is to die for.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Nice low key ambiance, great date night or lunch. It always works. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, it’s all amazing. Love me some chili oil in the egg drop soup with an egg roll. Prices are decent, highly reccomend. One of the best in az. The staff is great, I’ve never had an issue and I’ve been eating here for over 20 yrs.

I’m in Phoenix for work, and after seeing all the rave reviews online, I had to give this place a try. Let me tell you—it did not disappoint. This is exactly how Chinese food should be! If I lived here, I’d be a regular. The food is classic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. As a picky eater, I usually have some complaints, but this place nailed it. I ordered the hot and sour soup, king chicken, and the egg rolls and they were all delicious. The interior is modern and spotless, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

Very friendly, Mei, the “Grandmother,” took my order and was very informative. I learned they have been here for 30 years. That speaks volume as to their character. Mei said they are all family, though some are not related, greater is the family you choose. Had a good laugh while waiting for my order. I look forward to eating in-house next time. They are great.

This is almost 5 stars for a reason. Great food. I had the beef onion in brown sauce. Was great. Wife had a shrimp dish. The 5$ add on for a combo is great but be wary of the mustard sauce. It is hot! Plenary of food and lots of rice. The staff is very good too! Had my drink refilled at least three times while sitting here.

Food is good but the blatant racism here is ridiculous. The old lady at the cash register treats any one light skinned or white nicely says have a good day all that. To anyone black they clearly act completely different you can see the visual disgust on there face l. When I asked to pick up my order, they just say name look at me don’t say anything no thank you have a good day or anything. They just look at me with a blank face, but almost like they’re disgusted and not just me other people have said this too. If you’re that racist and you hate people that much you should reevaluate where you live

If you want amazing quality and delicious Chinese food, look no further. This place is amazing! Don’t let the exterior of the plaza fool you, this is a hidden gem! Atmosphere and service is wonderful! Did I mention super clean?! This is my new favorite in all of Arizona! The orange chicken and bbq pork fried rice, excellent quality!

I really hate posting negative reviews and no restaurant has consistently good food. We have been going to Wongs for years but last night was not good. Prices are up and quality is down as well as the service. Portions are decent but there is nothing special about the flavor. Basically tasteless food that shows the cooks are in a hurry and really don’t care. This is what happens when the cook is just trying to get food to the tables as fast as possible. As I looked around at other tables I noticed people leaving a lot of food on the plates, half eaten or not eaten at all. We spent $56 for three dishes and left most of it. Our waitress just dropped the plates of food on our table and never returned. No service, no personality, the food was just warm like it has been sitting in the kitchen. So we were very disappointed and probably won’t be coming back to Wongs in the future. Too bad because it used to be so good. Also the parking lot is very dark. The location is hard to get in and out and the building is an old dump.
