Niet te chique, maar gewoon op je gemak. Bij Stoop & Stoop koken we met erg veel plezier. Met grillen of gewoon uit de pan. Bij ons kan je gezellig een borreltje of iets anders nuttigen, maar je kan ook heerlijk eten, van een portie patat tot een heerlijke biefstuk, aangevuld met vers gebakken friet. Geen trek en enkel een drankje? Dat kan natuurlijk ook in ons gezellige bar gedeelte. Nieuwsgierig?! Kom binnen voor een lekkere maaltijd of gezellig een drankje.

I wanted some good Dutch food after the canal cruise and I really came to the right place. I had made a reservation but it was early and the off season so I probably didn’t need to. The vibes are cool in this small location and the staff was lovely. The food far exceeded my expectations. The salad alone told me that the rest of my meal would be amazing and it was true. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stampot are delicious, bitterballen are definitely my favorite… Apple pie with whipped cream and cinnamon ice cream are so well imagined, it was perfect!

We can highly recommend the “Stoop & Stoop eetcafé” restaurant. My husband and I had dinner there tonight. The staff were fabulous and gave us great local Amsterdam food and drink recommendations. The service was excellent. We both felt it was a family run business, and really shone through with their care. We also noticed that locals ate there and that is always a great sign. We will definitely return here again!

The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, which made the experience even more special. A great welcome, excellent service. We sat at the bar while we waited for a table to be cleaned. Excellent menu, something for everyone. Great beer selection on draft and bottles. The food was freshly cooked, and very tasty.

This place is a little gem… we had probably the best food we’ve had since being in Amsterdam. Really quaint and full of character. We reserved a place but were half hour late due to getting lost and a massive downpour. This wasn’t a problem as the owners were very understanding and accommodating. The place was full of people that appeared to be from a wide variety of nationalities. My wife and I both had the onion soup starter and it didnt disappoint. We had the mash with beef stew and the mash with meatball and bacon for the main… and again it was absolutely beautiful… so tasty! The beef stew came as a succulent piece of beef which fell apart . The meatball again was so tasty with crispy bits of bacon scattered on top. Absolutely loved the experience and would definitely recommend this place. Location wise its conveniently situated just off one of the main tram stops in Leidseplein. Give it a go, it won’t disappoint!

Went with friends for Sunday dinner feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The hosts were awesome and helped us what to order. Very chill and calm place food tastes very hearty nd good portions. They were sweet and told us to try some stroopwafel shots and it was amazing. Got a bottle of that from the airport on the way back 🙂

Had the most fantastic Dutch Steak and Mashed Potato with Kale & sausage! We encountered this restaurant randomly and walking in was the best decision we made. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the environment was lovely and lively!
