Stopped here for a meal while traveling from Indiana to Ohio. There was a very strong unpleasant smell, like something rotten, starting from the parking lot and continuing into the restaurant, especially near the restroom area. It seemed to be coming from behind the building, which really affected the experience. I’ve never encountered this issue at other Golden Corral locations.
The food and service were otherwise standard for Golden Corral. One highlight was the waffle station—it’s self-serve, and the fresh, made-to-order waffles were delicious. I enjoyed making them slightly crispy on the outside while still soft on the inside.

It has been a while since I have been there, maybe three or four years. I went today, because I gave my Mom a Golden Corral gift card for Mother’s Day. They have everything! I had Roasted BBQ Pork, Chicken, Ham and Cheese Bistro Melt Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Homestyle Stuffing, and Chocolate Cake with Chips, and Diet Coke. I could have had more, but I know I shouldn’t. I am willing to come back again, maybe put the app on my phone to have it at home when I can’t make it there to eat. It is as good as the last time I ate there years ago.
UPDATE:. November 5, 2022-Did you know you can have Golden Corral at home? You can with the app! I ordered the individual Pulled Pork meal, along with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Cole Slaw, Yeast Roll, and Diet Coke. For dessert, there were Peanut Butter cookies. It was all delicious!
UPDATE:. April 12, 2023-I went back today, and the food was good. I had Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fried Catfish, Nachos, and a Yeast Roll. For dessert, I had Banana Cream Pie and Strawberry Cupcake. I could have had more, but I know when to stop.
UPDATE: August 5, 2023-It has been a while since I ordered Golden Corral at home, so now was the time to do so. Since it was just me, I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad and a Diet Coke. I was good for an individual meal.
UPDATE: August 29, 2023-I finally went back to eat inside at the buffet. I had Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Pulled Pork, and a Yeast Roll. It was so delicious that I dug in and didn’t get a picture! They have so much more there, but I know when to stop, so I can move on to dessert. I had a Strawberry Cake, Chocolate Cupcake and a Chocolate Blueberry Cupcake. They were pretty enough to get a picture. I finally earned a $10 reward from the app! My only complaint is that the place is cold. One of my family members got cold. I like to eat there, but I don’t know if she will be coming back. I hope management reads this.

For dessert, I had Confetti Cake and a Chocolate Chip Cupcake. All of it was delicious! I could have had more, because they had so much to eat, but I know when to stop.
UPDATE: March 13, 2024-I came back and got off the buffet Grilled Barbecue Chicken, Fried Chicken, and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, and a roll. I then got Pulled Pork, and Seasoned Potato Wedges. I then got cake for dessert. All of this was delicious. I wanted more, but I know when to stop.
UPDATE: May 27, 2024-I was trying to decide where to order from this particular evening, so I decided to go with Golden Corral. I had earned a $10 reward months ago that I never used, so I applied it to a Pulled Pork Meal with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Baked Beans, and Diet Coke. When I got home with it, I discovered I got a few surprises. I also got a Roll and butter and some Chocolate Chip Cookies. My whole meal was delicious, and it only cost $3.08!
UPDATE: December 12, 2024-I ordered the Individual Holiday Meal, which is available during the holidays,so you will have to wait until the end of the year to get it. It includes Turkey and Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Stuffing, Cranberries, a Roll, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. My drink was a Diet Coke. There are other sides you can choose from. If you want an individual holiday meal, it is delicious and will fill you up! I was able to eat it all!
UPDATE: June 2, 2025-I decided to order the Pulled Pork Meal along with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Baked Beans, Roll, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Diet Coke. The whole meal was delicious! We had a wonderful experience in Golden Corral. Although we had planned to have breakfast at the restaurant, we got there too late. We did have lunch and it was delicious. A selection of food is fantastic. There are a plethora of items to choose from, ranging from salad with all the trimmings to pot roast to seafood, to lots and lots of vegetables and then the desserts, they are so plentiful.
Our waiter did an excellent job of keeping our drinks full and taking our dirty plates. The restaurant was very clean.

Worst experience at a Golden Corral that I’ve had! Salad bar was pretty much empty, the hot bar was really low, there was what I’m assuming. A Mgr on the grill, and I couldn’t get a steak as they ignored you! We were sat by the waitress room, and the overall language was crazy! For $20 a head, I would have a Chinese buffet and be more fulfilled and not even know what I was eating!!! It is highly unlikely I will return to this restaurant due to this experience tonight!!!

Recieved a call from Kim, the manager. She was pleasant when I talked to her and expressed concerns over our recent visit! Kim invited back to the restaurant, which was 10x better than the prior visit! She went above and beyond. And I’m grateful for that! I will give it a shot in the future due to her actions!!!

I love a salad bar and was craving a big salad so we tried this GC. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and fresh everything was. I had a giant salad. Only the broccoli had some brown spots. All the other vegetables were fresh. The rest of the food was average but I really like the fried chicken livers with onions. My husband said the food was fine and he like the banana pudding. Overall, a good place if you’re craving variety. Soft serve and peach cobbler was yummy.

Cashier was a bit rude. The counters dirty and the “clean” plates and utensils with dried food. I normally do not go to buffets but this was a birthday celebration. Other than the cashier, the staff were friendly. The seating areas were clean. The food I had was flavorful.

Managers and staff are always spot on. They are frequently stirring the food and putting out fresh products. This is the cleanest golden corral I have been to in a long time.

You are welcomed at entrance and pay for your food & drink cup. I would advise you to get a take out cup so when you leave, you have a drink to go.
The salad bar is well stocked with a large varatiy.
The fish stand with fresh breaded fish fillets & shrimp.
The meat selection covers all carnivorous appattites.
A good selection of roasted meats chicken pork.
Plenty of vegetables boiled steamed roasted.
Lots of mash & gravey for your meats.
I was disappointed as the ice cream machine was broken, but the bakery made up for the lack of ice cream.
Overhal experience was very positive. I enjoyed the large freash selection of salad vegetables, and everything was clean and the staff amazing.
I had to loosen my belt after hitting this place.
Now I am ready to hibernate.
