Decent spot if you need to dine while bringing your dog .
We only tried the Molcajete and it was almost authentic. If you are picky (like me) about corn tortillas, avoid ordering them here! (Maybe the flour ones are higher quality).
Kids truly didn’t like the quality of the meat, neutral about the chicken & chorizo. Best items: the rice, nopales & panels, both were great .

Javi made the food taste better. Awesome, professional and attentive service! We’ve been coming to Guapo’s Tenley/Friendship for over 20 years and it’s always been better than most Latin food restaurants but today was off the chain. The tamal delote was absolutely delicious and the arepas with cream were so delicious! The Guapomole was amazing and of course their chips and salsa are the best bar none.

I had a positive experience at GUAPOS RESTAURANT. It’s truly an awesome place to celebrate birthdays. The food was excellent, and the staff were professional and clearly enjoyed their work, which made for a very happy atmosphere.

We had an amazing experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Javi, our server. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His knowledge of the menu was excellent, his recommendations were spot-on, and he timed everything perfectly without ever making us feel rushed. Javi has that rare ability to be professional while also making you feel truly taken care of. Service like his turns a good meal into a great experience. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Javi again.
