Just a traveler 150 miles into an 1,100 mile trip. Stopped here for breakfast and gas. Best Denny’s ever, in every respect. Physical place, people/service, & food. Ann helped me and was great. Very cohesive team. Should be a model location.

This was my $16 sandwich (ignore the bite I will be eating it because I’m hungry lolol) and my pancakes after hearing them up for 3 minutes ;( but when your store says 24 hours PLEASE don’t make me feel like I did something wrong when I walk in to pick up my order 🙁 If the store isn’t 24 hours that is okay just update the website or maybe have a sign! My pancakes were literally raw and I had to cook them when I got home because they fought with me on ordering food when I walked in and I had literally already paid beforehand (1/16/26) around 3am

First, the staff are friendly and welcoming. No problem there, however, the quality of food was mediocre, at best. The plates were Brought to the table piece meal instead of all together. Eggs were cold by the time the english muffin was delivered. The restrooms were pretty disgusting even after staff went in and “cleaned”.
This unique dining car could be a real attraction in the area if the food lived up to the picture promises on the menu. However, if the staff is satisfied with serving mediocre food that’s all you’re gonna get at this location.

We went as a family of 9 to a birthday lunch for my sister. We were sat immediately even with our large group. Our drinks and appetizers came out fast, cheese stick were hot and delicious! The server handled our split order smoothly and the restaurant had a good few other guest. The servers sang happy birthday to my sister although I’m sure they didn’t have to. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. From the front of the house to the back everyone seemed to truly be enjoying their workplace and it showed in the food. My family is hard to please and not one person out of 9 had anything but great things to say about our experience. I got the Sirloin medium, cooked to perfection!

A Breakfast Experience That Truly Lifted My Spirits

My wife and I are staying at KOA Savannah South and decided to splurge on breakfast this morning. We spotted a Denny’s nearby and thought, that’s exactly the kind of breakfast we’re in the mood for.

When we pulled into the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised — this wasn’t a typical Denny’s. The building is a beautifully recreated 1950s-style diner, complete with chrome accents and classic design. Walking inside felt like stepping back in time.

Almost immediately, we were greeted by the upbeat, positive energy of our waitress, Ashley. She was wearing a shirt that read: “We love to flip things — like hamburgers, eggs, pancakes, and frowns.” And she absolutely lived up to it.
I’ve had a particularly anxious and stressful couple of weeks, and just being around Ashley — listening to her cheerfully interact with every customer — was incredibly uplifting. Her positivity was genuine, contagious, and honestly a little emotional for me. You don’t see many people today doing hard, fast-paced work with that kind of consistently amazing attitude.

And on top of all that? The food was perfect. Exactly the classic, comforting breakfast we were hoping for when we set out this morning.

We stay in this area from time to time when having our RV serviced at Southland RV, and we will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, great food, and truly exceptional service.

Thank you, Ashley, for making our morning brighter than you probably realize.

We had a training waitress. She did more sitting at the counter right next to us than waiting on us or learning. Restaurant definitely could have used a sweep. Windows could have been wiped down. Took us 40 minutes to get our food ( it was 6pm we were one of 2 tables only one other table came in while we were there 30 minutes after we arrived and then 2 to go orders so most definitely not busy) that came out item by item instead of together. I had to ask about my salad that I finally got when I was getting my food. My husband got a skillet that they either didn’t have the ingredients for or they didn’t know what was supposed to be on it. The eggs were cooked correctly. I ordered an 8oz steak potatoes and corn. If it was an 8oz steak I would be shocked. The corn was so pale in color and flavorless. Didn’t even touch the potatoes. We ate our food because we were hungry and just wanted to eat and get to our room as we were exhausted. Building was neat looking nothing like the Denny’s we have back home. Parking lot needs fixed. We definitely won’t go back which stinks because we normally love Denny’s

We loves the food, and service. The food was fresh and served just how we wanted it. And let’s talk about the server Ashley. She did an amazing job with customer service. She definitely needs a promotion! Thanks Ashley for being who u are! She was all smiles and checked on us constantly. We definitely will be back!

My wife and I had the most pleasant experience thanks to our amazing server, Ashley. From the moment we were seated, her enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care for her guests stood out immediately. She’s one of those rare people who truly enjoys what she does, and it shows in every interaction.

Ashley didn’t waste time, handled everything efficiently, and made our Sunday morning feel bright and welcoming. She’s got the kind of leadership and customer service skills that would make her an incredible manager—honestly, she displayed more professionalism and drive than many of the other staff we observed.

Now, while Ashley’s service was excellent, the food quality was unfortunately below expectations. My pancakes were undercooked and a bit cold, but I chose not to complain because I didn’t want to take away from Ashley’s focus or dampen her great energy.

As for the rest of the staff and management, there’s definitely room for improvement. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant didn’t feel as positive or attentive as it should. The manager, in particular, came across as disinterested and unapproachable, which can really affect team morale. A good manager should uplift their staff—especially servers like Ashley who clearly give their all.

All in all, Ashley was the highlight of our visit. She’s the only reason we’ll be giving this Denny’s another chance in the future. If the rest of the team followed her example, this location would be a completely different experience.

Five stars all the way across the board. I don’t know if they had a different shift there or watt. But the crew that work when I was, there was awesome. They made you feel welcome. They may your experience awesome they was playing music in the kitchen. The cook was cooking and dancing, and just enjoying themself and it was just a good image to see very friendly. ❤️
