Had the Galley Boy meal for the first time. Really impressed. The burger was a good size, hot, a bit messy (not a bad thing), and tasted amazing. It’s got a very sweet flavor to it which is fine by me. Sauce was super good. The fries were excellent, crispy and salty with tons of flavor, some of the best fast food fries I’ve had. The workers were polite and very quick to serve us. Food came out quickly. No complaints here, I will definitely go again.

I drive an hour out of my way *every single time* I visit family in Ohio to go to Swenson’s, on the drive there and on the drive back. The Galley Boy is the best burger in the world. Please bring a Swenson’s to St. Louis. It’ll save me a lot of gas money.

Will was the best part of our visit and the biggest reason we’ll be coming back. He took extra time to give a run down to our friend who had never been there before, he seemed genuinely excited about helping make it a great time for us. We really appreciated him and the food was also delicious. Our first timer called it a 10/10

Andrew our server always a big help! Pizzaroni Stack burger he recommended but then also said it’s probably better with chicken. And I asked if I could try both! Give the guy a raise most friendly, always remembers me and our family. He made a chicken Pizzaroni stack sandwich and it was epic. I also got the original with the Berger, which is amazing too, but Andrew’s right!! It needs to have the chicken not the burger my hat‘s off to him. Thank you Andrew!!

Service was good minus the food (we pre ordered) was 20min past time for a total of 40min wait and was absolutely disgusting. All our burgers (8 sandwiches) were a smashed, sloppy, wrong mess. They were all mostly burnt with a nasty oil taste, no bacon on one, no seasoning on another two I added and two sandwiches totally off. Idk what they where and we couldn’t read of the labels to figure it out. A total waste of time and money ($75) Definitely would be back…

** Update ** For the last year, Swenson’s has been great and we normally love it. Tonight, however, we had a disappointing experience. We didn’t feel like going out (rush hour) so we placed the order through Grub Hub. The food arrived on time, and the order was correct. BUT, there were a couple issues. The bag was sealed with tape from the restaurant, so we know it left the store in the same condition in which we received it. First, the bag of Potato Puffs was half empty (see picture). There were 12 pieces in the bag. At $3.65 a bag, that’s a little over 30 cents per piece. Definitely didn’t get our money’s worth on that order. Additionally, the Potato Puffs tasted like fish, presumably they had been cooked in the same oil as the fish or shrimp. Might be time to change the oil. The second issue was the lettuce on my burger. It was limp and transparent (see picture). It looked like it was 3 days old. Again, normally we’re perfectly happy with Swenson’s. Hopefully this order was a one-time fluke and we won’t have another experience like this.
