We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight, I highly encourage reservations. The restaurant does a nice job ensuring tables are ready for guest with reservations, almost to the extreme. When we arrived at 5:45 and asked for a table, there were plenty available but the hostess seemed reluctant to seat us bc multiple parties were coming in at 6pm. She eventually allowed us to sit at a table that was reserved for 7pm which was fine with us.

The atmosphere and meal were both great. I had the short rib with grits and sweet chili brussel sprouts. They were all excellent. My wife had the lobster, pesto pasta and she said it was amazing. The krumps donut bread pudding was just ok, not great. We will def be back bc the food was excellent. I can see why this restaurant is highly rated!

Great spot to grab dinner and much needed additional to downtown Hagerstown. This place is popping on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a huge beer and liquor menu as well as a solid food menu. The Maryland Crab Dip was absolutely loaded with crab and tasted great. The burger was great as well, this will quickly be added to your rotation of restaurants. Large parking garage onsite for easy accessibility. Huge linear bar and plenty of tv’s

I stumbled across this place today while exploring Hagerstown and I am so glad I did! The Cider Boys caramel apple cider was absolutely delicious and the wedge salad was phenomenal. Everyone of the staff that I encountered was pleasant and talkative and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be coming back next time I come through hagerstown.

Alright y’all, put your bifocals on and lock in because I have a lot to say.

We stumbled upon the Brick Tavern Saturday afternoon (we planned to go to Vevas, no shade but I’m glad they were closed or we may not have discovered this gem). I was in awe IMMEDIATELY coming through the door. The atmosphere is GORGEOUS, the staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Can confidently say I’ve found my new favorite place to hangout at. We were there for HOURS waiting for the parade and we had the time of our lives I honestly can’t wait to go back.

If and when you pay them a visit please be graceful because like any new business in town there’s some kinks that need to be worked out but our grace will be crucial to their success. The tavern is a beautiful addition to downtown Hagerstown. They also have a ballroom and bridal suite and it is beautifully curated. I truly can’t wait to see how things are when they flourish being that I had the time of my life and they’ve just opened this month!

This local gem is family friendly, solo diner friendly, and group gathering friendly!

This place is fantastic! The food and drinks are great. I love that they are open late. They also have some lounge areas that my friend and I love to chill and play games. The live music is hit or miss. I loved their jazz band, but the other one was not my style but that’s just personal preference.

Wife and I randomly decided to go out and try this new spot on a Wednesday night. Love music set the vibe to feel more like a cocktail with dinner rather than a beer. Cocktail was great, and even though I didn’t get a beer, the draft and can list was really good! Ordered the fish and chips and it was very good, a little less food than what you usually see at a pub, but honestly I was just happy the quality was as good as it was for being 2025! My wife had a huge wedge salad. We were told we needed to try the smash burger, so we each had a bite and took the rest of it home for lunch the next day. It was great!

Solid food, great cocktails, great vibe, and great service for being a new place.

Alright, I’ll say this the inside of the restaurant is really nice. The atmosphere was superb and very pleasant overall. They also had a live band, which made it a really enjoyable and romantic experience.

However, our main issue was the food.

I ordered the steak and my girlfriend ordered the chicken. The chicken wasn’t seasoned at all, and neither were the potatoes. The chicken was extremely dry. My steak, on the other hand, was cooked to perfection temperature wise, but it was overloaded with seasoning and still somehow tasted bland because it wasn’t cooked with any butter or tallow. It felt like it had a mountain of seasoning but no real depth of flavor. The green beans also weren’t seasoned at all.

We went for the Valentine’s special two meals for $49.99 each, which included an appetizer, a main dish, and dessert. For the price, that’s actually a pretty good deal. Our total bill came out to $110, and I tipped $30, so we spent about $140 for a romantic night out, which isn’t bad at all.

All in all, I wouldn’t necessarily go back for the food, but I would go back for the experience. The ambiance and live music made it a very nice evening.

My sister, my mom and I had a fantastic experience at the Tavern. Sylvia, our Bartender was exceptional. She was very attentive and friendly. The cocktails were perfect. We came to Hagerstown on business and always like to dine at local restaurants and absolutely nailed it with Brick Tavern! Located in what appeared to be the local downtown historical area in an older brick building which has been beautifully renovated inside with wood floors, a nice bar area with tables and booths and very clean. The hostess, Autumn, was very friendly with impeccable customer service. The guys had the ribeye steak with brussel sprouts and salad and homemade dressings. The salads were fresh, the dressing was delicious, the steaks were THICK and cooked and seasoned to perfection and needed no additional seasoning nor steak sauce. I had the shrimp and grits which was excellent…cheesy and savory with plenty of large shrimp and sausage with diced peppers cooked with Old Bay seasoning! We had the bacon deviled eggs as appetizers, the candied bacon on top was delicious…egg could have used a bit more mayo but still good. Can’t go wrong at this spot and free parking after 5 on Fridays and on weekends. Pricing was fair…expect between $20-$40 per entree. Definitely will visit again when in town!
