We went at the start of “happy hour” on “Taco Tuesday.” We were excited to learn there house tacos that were only $2.22 and the top shelf tacos were $4 each. I ordered the General Tao’s Cauliflower-delicious, cantina fish-spicy and the blackened fish- delicious. We also had the queso dip, which was $2 off the regular price. I also ordered the “mustache” drink. I sound have drank two of them but the server didn’t ask if I wanted another one so I didn’t order one. The atmosphere was a bit dead and the chips and salsa bar could use a refreshing! The best time to go IS Tuesday all day and happy hour!

Really enjoyed our visit to Local Cantina! The chips and salsa station was a nice touch — fun, fresh, and both hot sauces were delicious. Our server, Axel, was awesome: super friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We had the BYOB and a Chileezo burrito, and both were flavorful and filling. Tried the Mustache Ride and Paloma cocktails — both were tasty and well made. Great vibe, great service. We’ll definitely be back!

I am so glad we found this local cantina!
The interior vibe is very “dive bar” but with classical music in the background. The walls are covered with exciting eye candy and the menu has all the Mexican must eats.
They have their house made “Baby Spice” hot sauce that they sell and lemme tell you, it tastes like: mild sauce met citrus. It’s fantastic. I am visiting from California and had wanted to take a bottle home, but sadly, they are out of stock.
Thankfully, they are giving us two containers to take back to our hotel! Yippee!
We ordered a smothered burrito to share (red chili pork) and it’s delicious! Perfect size to share with someone if you don’t want to end up with a takeaway container.
Service was extremely friendly and helpful and invited us back tonight after 9pm for the $2.22 tacos (Thursday only) and all day on Tuesday specials. Thank you Savannah for all your help with the menu and encouraging us to call other locations to see if we can get a bottle of the sauce to pack in our suitcase!
We just might have to come back to watch the Celtics game

Would love to get exactly what we ordered without having to open each container and advise the hostess what is missing, allowing heat to escape, therefore exposing the warm food to room temperature. We had missing side items for the Fajitas. Had we not double-checked what we paid and tipped Local Cantina to do, we would have been eating plain steak on a flour tortilla. We also added an extra side of cilantro lime rice but did not get it. Disappointed about the lack of attention to detail that significantly affects the customers’ overall experience.

We went here for Taco Tuesday. They also have a self-service area where you can get chips and salsa with no charges. The staff were pleasant. The prices for the tacos are reduced on Tuesdays. They have varied taco choices, all of which tasted really good. They also have good margaritas. Parking is limited, but there’s street parking.

What a fun place on a summer day! The wide open restaurant serving delicious Mexican faire (some on the spicy side). Service a tad slow for how non busy it was but all in all it was a really good time. Highly recommend if you’re near the german district of Columbus.

I ordered carry out from this Local Cantina location that is walking distance to my office. Upon walking back to my office, I found out that the wrong order was given to me. I went back and received the best customer service I have received in a very long time. I was received by the manager of that location, and she couldn’t have been more professional and pleasant. She went above and beyond what I was expecting. Obviously, I got a freshly made dish of what I originally ordered, and it was incredibly delicious. She went above and beyond that to ensure that I was satisfied and left happy with a great experience. Customer service like what was provided to me is becoming increasingly rare in today’s world. This Local Cantina has it in spades. And all over a very minor and very common human mistake that we all are more than capable of making. I will absolutely be giving more business to this location and would recommend everyone else do the same. Great food and a very well run restaurant. 5 Star experience, easily.

We celebrated National Margarita Day with a pitcher of “Mustache Rides” and we were pleasantly surprised! Don’t be fooled by the size of the pitcher, they pack a punch for sure. We do wish they would back off on the ice a bit in the pitcher allowing more of the margarita goodness to serve the 4 of us. None the less, it was a tasty concoction. As for the food, this will be one of our regular stops from now one. Queso, guac, and salsa are all highly recommended. The chips and salsa are “help yo’self”, as much as you like. Genius! The tacos slap and be sure to upgrade to Weesy-style because the goodness overtook the importance of mindful eating at that point. They go out of their way of helping you save a buck while filling your belly on Tuesdays with a price cut on their tacos and I would suggest getting in early. Be generous to the staff, they really do a great job! Atmosphere has a funky vibe and a great playlist. If you are looking for gluten-free options, you will feel right at home.
