Amazing experience in Hanoi Old Quarter. I visited Chops Old Quarter and honestly everything was perfect. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and fresh. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was great with a really nice vibe in the heart of the Old Quarter. Everything impressed me from the food to the place. Highly recommended if you’re in Hanoi.

We were walking through Hanoi’s Old Quarter and chose this place for dinner based on TripAdvisor reviews.
We ordered burgers and a salad, but the dishes were not served at the same time, which was disappointing. The burgers arrived without fries, and the salad took the longest to come. Unfortunately, the salad was overdressed and very oily — it would have been much better if the dressing had been served on the side.
The restaurant itself is small, nicely designed, and has a clear sense of style. The staff speak English, which is a big plus. However, food is the most important part of the experience. The burgers were acceptable, but not outstanding.
Overall, based on the reviews, I expected a better dining experience.

Absolutely amazing burger spot!
The hamburgers are incredibly tasty, juicy, and clearly made with great-quality ingredients. And the mac and cheese… wow — hands down one of the creamiest, most delicious I’ve ever had. Soooo tasty!
On top of the food, they serve one of the best beers in Vietnam, which makes the whole experience even better.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the wonderful team. Everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Da and Nhi — they were absolutely the best and made us feel right at home.
We will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who loves great burgers, comfort food, and excellent service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really cool American style restaurant in the heart of the old quarter. Lots of tasty choices. My friends said the burgers hit the spot and the wonton pulled pork nachos I had were pretty tasty as well! Although I prefer them on regular tortilla chips, they were still enjoyable and worth it. The atmosphere is chill and the staff are friendly. Totally recommend it if you need a break from Vietnamese food!

I would give it 10/5 , everything was perfect – food, service and the ambience. One of the only places where they interact and make you feel invited. We were in need of a break from Vietnamese food and were craving a burger. Chops did not disappoint. We started with the onion rings (delicious and light) and then had the Swiss burger and a couple sliders. All delicious but an extra special standout was the fried chicken slider with pulled pork that our server Tammy recommended. She was super friendly and even gave us some favorite Vietnamese spots now that we’d had our burger fix. I have to say we may be back for the nachos before we leave town. The price was also fair as are most spots in Vietnam.

You have to add Chops to your must visit list when in Hanoi! They’re serving up delicious burgers, cold drinks and amazing service!
The staff were so helpful, pointing out specials and also recommending their favourite burgers too!
The food that my husband and I ordered was so flavourful, and definitely left us wanting more!
The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, they were all so friendly and attentive! Shout out to Tammy who was an absolute superstar, striking up conversation with us and when she learned it was our first time visiting Hanoi she took the time to write out a list of local food and delicacies to try, as well as some attractions to visit!

I am a big lover of burgers and chips, so we chose to eat here to have a change from Vietnamese food. It was so good here that we came her twice! I absolutely loved the quality of the meat, and the triple cooked chips were so good! Loved how chunky they were. The mac & cheese bites and buttermilk chicken wings were delicious! The Rolls Royce burger was so good and loved the truffle.
Not the most healthy meal, but you need to treat yourself while on holiday! Overall, I highly recommend you visit if you fancy a change and love your burgers.
