Had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes w/gravy and mac and cheese. Food came out slightly cool but eatable. The mac & cheese was outstanding. This place is showing its age. It wouldn’t hurt for it to get a deep cleaning and some fresh paint. Both bathrooms were gross.

The food is truly Southern comfort cuisine. The feel.is open and peaceful. And the employees are courteous and respectable. Would advise anyone passing through to go in and enjoy. One thing i didn’t like was the fact they gave me a half dollar piece of country ham.

I popped by this location’s drive thru to get a big chef salad a few nights ago. The service was quick and friendly, as always. Unfortunately, what I made it home with was something far from acceptable to serve any customer. When I opened it I couldn’t even tell what I was looking at. Intrigued? Yeah, I was too.
At first I thought it was just a bunch of soggy chicken skin from a fryer basket because that’s how it looked in the dim light of my living room. I was so so confused about how that nasty stuff could have possibly found its way onto and a mostly covering my otherwise freshly prepared salad. It was just soo incredibly gross looking. As I sat there scooping this crap out I just couldn’t figure it out. Why on earth would anyone do this?
A good ten minutes into my dinner I thought, “Hmmm, where’s the advertised ham/bacon? Surely I should have come across some by now.” And that’s when it hit me… all that nasty icy crumbly weird textured stuff I had spent time removing WAS the missing ham/bacon pieces. So yeah, someone put two huge handfuls of mid-defrosted ham or bacon pieces all over the top of the salad. There had to have been a cup and a half of this icy stuff. I’d love to hear back from local management and would greatly appreciate a proper salad on the house.

We arrived shortly after 3pm, ordered and food came quickly. Everything was cold including the cornbread muffins. The manager was accommodating stating he guessed we came for hot food and mentioned they had just changed dishes and put water in the tables. I, having years of restaurant management experience, knew that the process should never take so long that food temps drop. Tga manager offered to remake both meals. I passed on the re-do but the other meal was replaced. It came out smoking hot. When my brother bit into to the fresh fried pork chop, he looked around the table for a napkin. The pork chop was rancid. I said, well if they can’t keep hot food hot, we shouldn’t expect cold food to be kept cold. We paid and left, never to return again.

Southern charm at it’s finest! Thank you Reina for excellent service with a smile. Yummy country style cooking for lunch. We are pleased we decided to make a quick stop here. Oh and I can’t forget about Rosalie. She wanted to make sure we were taken care of when we were checking out … she tried to feed us again. We are satisfied customers.

I went their 6/26/2022. I had a nice waitress. 5he food came up very quick we waited no longer than 10 min and the food was up. It was good and hot and seasoned. The waitress kept our drinks filled. This location also has a outside patio where u can sit in rocking chairs. The area was nice i Sat over 30 min just enjoying the view.

Service is good. Food came out cold and had to be done over. Price’s should be lower considering the small portions you receive. Heating unit was out and everyone was freezing. Very uncomfortable setting. Restaurant us clean throughout.
