Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

worst service I ever had in a long time ordered a Chicken fajita taco waited 20 minutes and after a lot of waiting and a little honking, lol the worker still has the audacity to walk slowly purposefully to the car doesn’t say a single word to us, and just hand the food through the window then on top of that the burrito was disgusting. It wasn’t rolled right and it was way overly oily and it wasn’t even rolled at all when I opened it half the chicken fell on the floor. I will attach pictures. The food doesn’t even look edible lol it’s just hilarious at this point this place actually just sucks.

Best service I’ve had in a drive-thru in a VERY long time. I was greeted by an employee named Tavian who had a great attitude and focus on his job. Very engaged and helpful! Best part is that he was new and actually putting in effort!! I wanted to commend him on his exemplary performance tonight and consider him to his employer as a candidate for higher opportunities. These kinds of hardworking young people are the ones we need in the food industry. 5 star performance

Best burger I have ever had. The bun was perfectly shiny with few crackles, the lettuce was as crispy and fresh as could be, the grilled onions were actually grilled and not just quickly burnt on one side, the cheese was perfectly placed so it melted perfectly even over the patty, the meat was juicy and well done, and the burger was stacked so beautifully that when I took my first bite I got a little bit of everything. Absolutely perfect. 10/10. Great customer service. Fast but fresh.

Went here on a Friday night 10:30ish, medium busy, drive thru. Didn’t wait long. Got home and son noticed he got a regular chicken sandwich NOT spicy like he ordered. Called them just to let them know, & John the night manager immediately listened, his first words are “Oh no I’m so sorry about that!”
He didn’t doubt me, or interrupt me, didn’t say “uhh well you can come back with the food and we’ll fix it if you want”
With confidence and remorse for the trouble he says “I would like to make that right for you, I’m John the manager here at the moment, and you don’t have to come back tonight bc I know it’s late, but you can come another day and we will remake it for you. Is that okay with you?”
TALK ABOUT GREAT SERVICE!! Thank you so much for hearing me, offering to fix the issue at MY convenience, & ensuring I was okay with it. John, your service exceeded my expectations. I appreciate you and I hope you see this! Service matters, it can be tough! You made my night and I will tell everyone about this 5 minute call. It means a lot truly.

Jakayla does not need to be working with customers. The food was actually pretty good! The burger and fries were hot and fresh. The Dr Pepper was very flat. Jakayla is why I won’t be back. Rude and very short with an attitude you can feel even through the speaker. At the window is even worse. after my order was thrust at me and window immediately slammed in my face I had to tap on the glass to ask for ketchup. “We don’t have any”. I was surprised so I asked “you don’t have any ketchup?” Bc I would have taken spicy ketchup or any other. That didn’t get a response. Just an eye roll and another quick slamming of the window.

I ordered a double meat Whataburger junior with cheese and jalapeños in the drive-thru at lunchtime. It was made with the meat and lettuce only! No tomatoes, pickles, cheese, or mustard! Really? I couldn’t even eat it. The fries tasted old as well. I’m never going back to this location even though it’s close to home.

Not very small children friendly at all for families. This is a newly renovated location, but there is not a single changing table in either restroom. I had to change my baby in the trunk of my car outside.
My fries had no salt on them at all. My sandwich was good though.

Isiah went above and beyond after a simple mistake was made. I haven’t seen customer service like that in a very long time. Absolutely legendary moment. Give that guy a raise!

Why on earth do public Restaurants, aka fast food places feel the need to place door locks with codes needed to go to the restroom to wash your hands. Put a sign up if you dont want people wandering in that arent customers. Ridiculous
