Breakfast with Santa and table service by Michelle who was very polite friendly and helpful. Very nice morning and all staff made us feel welcome. Santa and Elf were really good with the kids too and would highly recommend this great pub. Fantastic food too.

All in all BAD. We had an awful experience. Would not return here even if all the food was free. The lasagne was awful – did they use old shoe leather to make it (see picture attached)? Now, as for the veggie food, the burgers were okay. Now, if you were to read the menu, you’d expect onion rings – we did too. Wrong ❌. The onion rings aren’t veggie, so we were told when asked. Therefore, we didn’t get them with the burger. Surely you’re thinking, of course, onion rings are veggie, why wouldn’t they be? That’s because they’re cooked in oil used for meat products. So surely that means not veggie. Okay, so why are the starters labelled vegetarian (suitable for vegetarians)? Well, this is due to onion rings not having meat in them. That’s fine, but I’m not eating a raw onion ring. The explanations we were being given made me cross. Now, by no means do I blame the staff who were just being told what to do, as I am a waitress and understand that they are not the ones making these decisions.
Onion rings aside, the tables had many dirty plates and cups, so we had to clean our table to find a place to sit. The lights were flickery, and the place felt grimy.
The only positive was that the service was quick, but that didn’t make up for the overall negative experience.

Went for a cheeky £6 meal today. Place was nice and busy without being crowded. Very friendly staff were on hand but I loaded the app to try. It was very easy to order and the food and drinks came quickly with another friendly smile and comment. I had the tikka masala and my husband had the fish and chips. There was plenty and it was all hot and nicely cooked. Will be coming regularly methinks.

This place needs some help, the table service was fine, they were helpful and trying hard, but the rest needs work and development.
Took the Family for dinner, hoping for basic pub food.
The first issue was the starters weren’t available, but they did offer an alternative which was fair enough.
When the mains were delivered, the vegetable lasagne was extremely over cooked and solid, and the children’s pasta was cold, full of water on the bottom and little sauce. We discussed this with the bar staff and they told us that all of the food would come out like that, it’s the equipment they are using and the way it’s cooked , all they could do was offer a refund. So we accepted that.
Not great, won’t be going again.

Visited yesterday 27th February. The salad looked like it had died and the lasagne was dry and tasteless and looked like it was a leftover. My partner had a southern fried chicken sub which was overcooked. The best part if the meal was the drinks. An hot chocolate and a vimto.

Friendly setting not too busy, pleasant attentive staff ☺️ good discount tonight on burgers so opted for the signature ones, Korean Chicken and a Big Melt. Nicely presented, hot enough and tasted good. Only quibble was the burgers on the Melt were well cooked so no moisture to them. Still tasted good though! When ordering the special offers on drinks, READ THE SMALL PRINT! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
