We had the Pulled pork swachos. (these were basically nachos). Honestly, we could have just gotten this and it would have fed all 3 of us. It was basically lots of chips, tons of cheese sause, a few beans, and a dash of pulled pork. If there was an option, I would have doubled the meat and not gotten the sausage.
I got the jalapeño sausage. Be aware, this falls apart when you eat it, so I definitely recommend having the worker cut it. This was pretty good. I kind of ate bites of it with the nachos.
We got a side of coleslaw. Honestly, when we got it, I thought this looks disgusting. My husband said he thought the same thing. It was really tasty.
The drink selection was fabulous! Just so you know, they have flavor splashes when you select a drink. So there was a dirty Dr. pepper option.
When we were finished, my husband said to my daughter, next time we come up here, we can get something else. She said, I’d rather go to a different place to try other places.
Also when we got in line I asked the group behind us if this place was good. The reaction was well were from Texas. So I guess not as good as Texas.
They had tvs for the football games, and some country music playing. The music was loud enough they my deaf husband could hear it.
The vibe was nice. The pictures/graffiti on the wall were super fun. The pig out front was very fun.
I’ve been going to Bam Bams for years at this point and I can safely say they’re some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The brisket is always fresh and hot, juicy and tender. The pulled pork is the same way.
But what really sets them apart is their service. Staff is always so, so friendly, and they are here to make sure you get a great meal. They’re great people. They make good food and are good at their jobs.
Anyways, 5 stars. Recommend all the way. Bit pricey, but it’s worth it. They’ll hook you up with the best damn BBQ Utah has.
The brisket is ridiculous. Juicy, smoky, with that perfect crust on the outside and melt in your mouth goodness on the inside. You take one bite and just look at whoever you’re with like, yep, this is it. The ribs have that perfect bite where the meat pulls clean but doesn’t fall apart. Full flavor, no shortcuts.
Pulled pork is loaded with smoke and super tender. The sausage has that snap when you bite into it and just enough kick to keep it interesting. And the sides are not throwaways. The mac and cheese is creamy comfort food. The beans are hearty and flavorful. The cornbread actually tastes homemade.
The vibe is easy and welcoming. No hype, no gimmicks, just people who clearly care about making great food. You walk in hungry and leave happy.
If you’re craving barbecue that actually delivers, this place flat out hits.
Best brisket I’ve ever had.
Best turkey I’ve ever had.
We all filled up, can’t wait to go back.
Facility could be more comfortable than picnic tables and butcher paper plates, but maybe that was charming and I didn’t get it.
Very disappointed. We were not impressed with the atmosphere. Staff were nice and can’t complain about the service. Nothing special, nothing bad. The food was disappointing. They were out of ribs so ordered brisket, turkey and chopped pork and some burnt ends. Sides I ordered Mac and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw.
Brisket was dry and nothing to brag about. 2star
Turkey was decent and ate most of it. 3 star
Chopped pork was good but no wow factor. 3 star.
Burnt ends were fair. 3 star
Mac and cheese wasn’t very well done. Wasn’t very cheesy and they put fishy crackers in top. 1 star.
Baked beans were decent but no meat in it. Had a Mexican taste flare to it. Some beans were undercooked. 2 star
Spent $90 total for 2 of us and had lots of leftovers because it wasn’t very good.
Coleslaw missed the mark. 1 star.
Total disappointment and we all agreed it wasn’t a place worth returning. No wow factor, no atmosphere.
Tables were clean and are nice wood bench seating and picnic style tables. No chair and table seating. Could be difficult for people who aren’t as mobile.
