Friends who live in the area took use here and we all did enjoy our time. The waiter was great very attentive and had a good sense of humor even though he was going steady. Everyone in our party mentioned how they enjoyed the food. We all left happy.

Full disclosure.I did not have a five star outback experience on my bingo card. Wow! I was absolutely impressed and I have to give lots of credit to server Kat who took excellent care of us even though she had just come off of a very long veterans day shift the day before where the restaurant was absolutely packed. As someone who is also in the industry, it’s obvious to me when staff is tired, but delivering five star service anyway. Bravo Kat! I came in for a burger lunch with a friend of mine, who can’t stop talking about this place. It’s probably been twenty years since i’ve been into an outback for reference. Was never impressed in the past.But wow things have changed. There is a meal deal where you get three courses for $14.99 and that is what I had.
First of all, the Bloomin Onion Burger was amazing and I am not easy to impress, let me just put that right out there.
Started off with a wedge salad, that is a real classic steakhouse dish for me that I absolutely love, and this one was very good.
My friend had the regular steakhouse burger and she loved it. We are both really particular about fries and the fries were excellent.
Based on this experience alone I will be back for a steak dinner. This restaurant was literally not on my radar at all, and this very simple lunch was outstanding.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is really warm and comfortable. Big comfortable gorgeous booths which I loved, even the dishes and the silverware were above average in quality.

Cup 2 is a $10.00 order of Onion soup…. Seriously??

Am I the only one that feels like this is outrageous? The Menu said Crock of Soup NOT A SIDE OF SOUP for $10.00

The service was super friendly and quick. The filet mignon and ribeye were both amazing. The kids loved the cheeseburger and chicken. There’s a $10 take home special, we wish we knew that yesterday My kid says “the chef is so quick he must be a professional ninja”

Great atmosphere great people great food. Every time I come here I’m treated with a warm smile and a cold beer. At the outback in Merritt Island, they know how to make you feel at home. Whether it’s the bartenders, knowing your go to order. or it’s a server informing you of the newest special this place has what you need. Great parking located next to the mall. Go check them out.

I honestly loved the seasoning here better than l*nghorn steakhouse, but both are very good overall. The bread surprise me, it’s warm and sweet and with the whipped butter, it’s amazing! I unfortunately did not like the blooming sauce since it has too much horseradish for my liking. But their fried mushroom is the best! Not too oily, very juicy and flavorful and the bone in rib eye are tender. The dessert that has timtams on it is great too. Service is fast and attentive, although my waitress look a bit annoyed since we were rushing a bit since we don’t have much time. But overall, I enjoyed it.

Everything except the steaks were delicious and well prepared. The steaks on the other hand were of extremely poor quality (probably select grade) and smothered in pepper (not blackened) to hide the lack of quality. I do NOT recommend the steaks at this location if you value your wallet and stomach.
I would have rated the service higher except my silverware (knife) was dirty and when I requested a clean knife all the server did was take the dirty knife, go out of my sight and wipe the grease from the dirty knife then return it to me.

The service was good, we sat outside and it was a nice screened in porch. I noticed they recently updated the menu, but classic like the Blooming Onion are still there!

NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE
We just left this establishment at 8:40pm and went to Longhorn. We ordered a blooming onion, soup, and said. Paul our server never brought the soup. We had no plates or silverware when the food came. We waited for about 25 minutes. During this time Paul walked by 6 times and never stopped to bring us our soup, or silverware. I got up and walked to the front of the restaurant with my salad to ask the manager what I should eat this with. He was very nice and instructed us we didn’t owe anything. We left and went to Longhorn.

Absolutely awful crazy I actually ordered there one year ago for Mother’s Day last year this terrible. I ordered steak and shrimp combo. Shrimp were stringy and overcooked, the steak was dry and like charcoal and the coconut shrimp was overcooked wet and soggy. The blooming onion was like a wet soggy over salted piece of mush. I am so upset 54.00 later and I ate a piece of bread. My husband ate the salad. Thanks Outback
