This place earned a spot in our heart (and stomach ). Their vannison and grilled chicken burgers was so on point. The vibe was lively, the staff were champs, and the buns were toasted to perfection. If you haven’t tried ’em yet, you’re sleepin’ on some good stuff in newmarket ️.

Sweet potato fries and curly fries are both amazing (I recommend SP), and the flamin hot mozzarella sticks are freakin fire.
I’ve had the mac burger, el feugo, and KFC, which all consistently please.

Amazing burgers, great beer, and really good service. Kenny took care of us and made the whole experience even better. Super friendly, quick, and on top of everything. You can tell the team really cares about the customers. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others.

I recently visited Ground Burger Bar and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked—the Greek salad is always spot on—but what really stood out was the service. Our waitress, Gabby, was fantastic! She had such an amazing personality—warm, attentive, and full of positive energy. She truly made the whole dining experience memorable.

I LOVE the Burger Bar! We moved to Newmarket about 3 years ago after an extended stint in Old Montreal. One of the first things I noticed was the boring selection of chain restaurants in the area. I’m always on the lookout for something unique and was elated when I walked into GBB for the first time.
I know it’s a burger place, but finding something in Canada that can cook a burger to my liking (instead of well to over well) is a good start. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and every dish is well executed and as tasty as it can be. Trust me, get the sweet potato wedges and thank me later!
The staff is always friendly, the service is quick and efficient, definitely a must try in the Newmarket area.

Great burgers and awesome atmosphere! The patties were juicy and flavorful, and the toppings tasted really fresh. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Service was friendly and quick, and the place has a nice casual vibe. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Newmarket for burgers. Will be coming back!

If I could give this burger 10 stars I would, hell if I could give this place 10 stars I would.
Me and my sister came in for the first time & OH MY GOD, first of all Sophia was so nice, she brought us to the back because the door was open and it was warmer back there & then the burgers came out & they certainly did not disappoint.
My and my sister both got the Smashed Mac & let me tell you, I am a burger connoisseur and I have tried burgers from all over, this was a perfectly packed burger, cooked to perfection, the meat was seasoned just the right amount, there was no dryness to the meat & that is when you know it is a good burger.
Then I paired it with a Classic Poutine & the star of the show (as it should be) was the gravy, the consistency of it, the color of the gravy & the taste of the gravy, not to mention the fries were the perfect cut & perfectly seasoned, not to salty & the poutine wasn’t drowning in gravy afterwards, just the perfect amount.
My only complaint is that I couldn’t have another one. I will definitely be back & I have made it my personal mission to try every burger on this menu.

Wonderful service and good spread of options on the menu, seating has sight to tvs for any sports going on and everything has a great mood with beautiful atmosphere! Not to mention delicious food!
