I ordered Chicken Parmesan and the portion was exceptional, my takeout tray was massive. The Mozzarella Sticks were professionally laid out, the soup was delicious(love when Chicken Lemon Rice does NOT have Onions, and the Fish and Chips my mom ordered was well presented as well.
However, a subsequent visit for drinks allowed for a taste of the in-house atmosphere. The vibe was indeed positive, and the staff proved to be genuinely friendly. Impressively, the corned beef sandwich, ordered again, was just as outstanding as the first time, a testament to their consistency. The drinks were also well-made, contributing to an enjoyable experience. This visit solidified the initial positive impression, showcasing not only quality food but also a welcoming environment. While not quite a perfect five stars, this establishment offers a solid 4.5-star experience, delivering both delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Catfish dinner, chicken Alfredo, lamb chops, steak, and Milestone chicken sandwich are our favorites!
In the evening the vibe is pretty chill, alot of R&B and old school classic records. Some nights they have DJs in the bar area.
We were the only white people there. Which is fine.
But the reverse racism is real. Our waiter DID NOT want to wait on us. You could tell. And it took a while for us to be seated (we were seen, but blown off). Our waiter took his sweet time getting to us (probably in back asking someone else to take “those white people”. He was very short with us, rude (but you could tell he was trying his hardest not to be) or very welcoming. Other waitstaff seemed very friendly to all the other customers.
As good as the food was, we’ll probably never dine here again. You can’t enjoy your food feeling uncomfortable. This kind of stuff goes both ways
