Today was our first experience at this establishment. From the moment we walked in until the time we walked out the staff was exceptional. Our waiter was very attentive as well as knowledgeable about the menu offering recommendations. The chef came to check and speak with us. The food was delicious and the mystery Mimosas were great. Thank you for making our experience a pleasurable and one to remember for my husband’s birthday. We will definitely be returning!

Chef Casey is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the entire customer service team reflects the same level of professionalism and warmth. You can truly feel how much they care about their guests.
Our server, Santiago, was outstanding—very friendly, attentive, and made sure our family felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, well cared for, and full of flavor. Everything shown in the photos is exactly what we enjoyed—divine from beginning to end.
It was the perfect place to celebrate a special family moment, and the attention to detail truly stood out.
We will definitely be coming back without a doubt. Highly recommended!

Chef Casey is amazing along with the staff. Ideal place to eat. Service good, food good, atmosphere good…everything good. May have been the best service I ever received in Houston. Keep this up, it will keep me coming back! Oh and when you order the first mimosa, the next 4 are 1 cent! Oh and the hidden gem outside…they have hookah!

Placed an online order and was told couldn’t come inside. After waiting outside I received my food and went back to my car. To my surprise I didn’t have any silverware went back up to the restaurant and asked for some silverware one lady went in to “grab” it but never came back. I waited a total of 8 minutes before deciding to walk
back to my car then the food was cold. I always try to support local businesses but I’ll never be back! Didn’t feel welcomed and idk what type of fish they are serving it’s advertised as catfish but it looks like swai fish. Wasn’t good at all.

Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted outside by the owner, who was absolutely amazing! Our server, Lowa, was outstanding super attentive and friendly. Definitely check out the 1¢ mimosa brunch deal! You pay regular price for your first one and get five more for just a penny each.
One thing I really loved was that during brunch, we still had access to the full menu. I’m not much of a breakfast person, so that was a big plus! My husband is from Africa, and I’ve had plenty of authentic home-cooked African meals from my in-laws this restaurant was right on point!
As a young African American couple, we felt very welcomed, and the food was full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back. I ordered the oxtails (I’d rate them a 6/10 — good, but could be even better), and my husband got the Peri Peri chicken with jollof rice, plus beef and African spicy chicken empanadas. Everything he ordered was outstanding — so much so that we ended up getting another plate to go!

Astor’s Table absolutely blew me away! The food was incredible from start to finish, and the mystery mimosas were such a fun and delicious touch. The service was top-tier—every staff member was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The highlight of the visit was Chef Casey personally coming out to sit with us and chat. That level of connection and hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable. Everything was amazing, and I’ll definitely be back!

Astor’s Table is a great spot! The vibe is casual but classy with white tablecloths, and the place was spotless and busy. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and well-coordinated, using a radio communication system to stay in touch. They even open doors for guests and provide bag hooks at the tables.
I ordered the lamb curry, and it was fantastic. I love spicy food, and this dish had just the right amount of heat to satisfy me without making me sweat. The flavor was rich, and the portion was generous with plenty of tender meat and just the right amount of rice.
Parking was a little crowded since it is in a busy shopping center, but it was not too hard to find a spot. The chef also came out to chat with guests and make sure everyone was happy, which was a nice touch.
Even though it is a bit of a drive to Katy, I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Edit: came back and got the oxtails and wings. Super yummy. Oxtails were tender and flavorful, not greasy like some versions can be, plantains were my favorite. The wings and fries seasoning was also delicious.
Got to try the octopus and the lamb chops, spare ribs in my most recent visit. Flavor was, again, excellent. Again the staff is very attentive and the chef puts in extra effort to make sure people are happy. Chef checked up on me a few times and though I was hesitant, at first, to give my criticism I eventually noted that the octopus was a bit tough/over cooked. Chef let me know that he saw me struggle to cut the octopus earlier which is why he was checking up on me. Once again, I was impressed by the care not only from the rest of the staff but by the chef also. They all definitely show they care and strive to do better. I hope everyone notices and appreciate the effort they put like I do.
