Great experience! We stopped by for a quick lunch for our brother who goes to UNCC. There are saucers all over the wall, and the food was great! We loved our pizzas, lettuce wrap burger, and bretzel. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. They were out of arugula for the arugula and prosciutto pizza, so they were able to sub basil. The pizza was still incredible, and they discounted me for the pizza since they were out! My sister has a gluten-free diet (not celiacs) and they were very accommodating.

One word….or name….HALEY!!! She literally made this experience one for the books. We just moved to the area and she provided hands down INCREDIBLE service. Her knowledge of every single thing beer related was impeccable. She immediately provided all of the specials offered by Flying Saucer, connecting us with the instagram account where we could find all the fun happening for the week. My fiancé was in love with one of the local beers from a company down the street and she connected us with them via instagram so we could connect with them as well. She truly loves and enjoys what she does and it was so clearly evident. So, if you’re in the Charlotte area head to Flying Saucer and ask for Haley at the bar. You will not be disappointed! Aside from her amazing personality and customer service the vibe of the restaurant is amazing. They have plates all over the walls and ceilings and you can join and get your plate up there one day as well as a super cool tshirt (all explained by Haley ) They have probably ~75 taps and they rotate daily. This place is special. Stop by and see for yourself. We can’t wait to go back!!

This is a pretty cool place with a good vibe. Service was really good & the bartender made sure all our needs were met. The carne asada fries were over cooked & the steak was hard to chew but my overall visit was good.

This review might be a little biased. I’ve been told that I am just a little obsessed with “The Phenomenon” so anything with a Flying Saucer has my vote. The food was good, but typical for what you might find in a pub. The atmosphere was nice, sports on the television, plenty of beer on tap, and the servers were super nice. On top of all that they have cool coasters and hats with flying saucers. What more could anyone ask for in a dining experience.

We haven’t been here in a while, so while we were in the area, decided to pop in for a late lunch. Menu is a nice mix of bar food, with pizza, tacos, burgers, pretzels and more. Huge beer selection, hard to decide, ask your server what types of beer you like and they can help you narrow it down. You can always get a flight of beers on tap. I got a seasonal Marzen and fish tacos. I wish the fish had more blackened seasoning, but the mango salsa was good. Tons of fries! My partner got a burger that was huge with more fries. I think the portions are good for young college kids since this is near the university. Next time we will get something sharable. Our server was nice and attentive, we sat at the bar. There is a large bar, outside patio and 2nd dining room. I’m sure this place gets super busy on sports days, they also have triva and bingo nights. Plenty of free parking.

We visited here Monday afternoon around 3:30pm. It was not busy so we sat at the bar. We each got a beer. Monday is 5$ drafts. I got the Saucer Burger cooked medium. It was good. My wife got the Blacked Fish Tacos. I could not finish my burger. Fries weee good. We got a to go box for our fries. Our bartender Izzy was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Would go again and try different things.

In the neighborhood and decided to try out Flying Saucer. This unassuming yet festive pub had a phenomenal selection of craft beer on tap and the service was exceptional. Of note was their jalapeno poppers, absolutely delicious! It looks like it was just a weekly special when my wife and I visited, would recommend to the chef to consider keeping them on the menu full-time as they were fantastic.

Enjoyed our time here. Service was good, staff were friendly, food was good. My only critique was that we got the dips and got pimento cheese and it wasn’t mixed very well. Big hunks of cream cheese throughout. Had to mix it at the table a good bit. Very minor and it’s obviously made in house which is nice! Looks like they have lots of fun events on the regular too!
