Had a lovely evening meal here at Bistrot Pierre. Our server Sophie was very friendly and helpful making sure we got the best dishes that suited our interests. The food was delicious and well-cooked, all in all a great place for a nice dinner out!

Both my OH and I had the 2 course menu. He had soup and I had Calamari for starters, both us had the Honey glazed pork medallions. Everything tastes lovely and was well seasoned.
Reasonably priced too.
Our server Lucy was polite, friendly & very attentive.
Atmosphere was great, except for the group of cackling women a couple tables behind, looking down their noses at us, but that is beyond the restaurants control and no reflection on our meal as a whole. Will be returning!

Had an amazing dine experience with friends this evening. Fantastic place, great food, perfect atmosphere and the customer service can’t say anything negative highly satisfactory! All our needs and demands has been met beyond expectation. Staff on the floor come time to time to check at our table if we want anything more or we need assistance. We weren’t ready to order but he (Staff Sam) came back attentively and assisted us timely, we didn’t have to wait longer. Have tried their steak, so good – you must not miss at all! They also have an appealing luscious dessert menu to choose from. Additionally to highlight the drinks menu especially alcoholic beverages they offer a lot of options and they also offer hot drinks. A recommended place – will surely come back to this place. They have offers for future upcoming events. Lastly, the toilets are very clean and they have a huge mirror!
If you keep coming back to the restaurant I suggest download their app to save points and can be use to spend later.

Absolutely astounding customer service from start to finish.
Warm welcome and happy to accommodate moving table to suit the little terrors (our kids).
Asked 100 questions of our waitress, who was great and patient.
Food was amazing, with new small plates a great addition to menu.
We come here relatively often, Lucio and the team always make us feel welcome but today was extra special. Maybe because of the free bottle of champagne that we get each year for my birthday through their app. Which you should definitely sign up for.
The icing on the cake however was the chef offering his fork from his lunchbox for our toddler when she decided to protest against the usual cutlery. A really kind gesture that helped keep the birthday celebrations on track.
Times are tough for businesses especially in hospitality. These guys do an amazing job and provide a great quality experience for an affordable price. We can’t recommend highly enough.

Booked for an 18th birthday lunch, we had never been here before but had heard positive reviews from others.
The booking process was easy, and despite online there not being a table for 9 people, I booked for 8 and wrote in the box about there being 9 of us, 2 of which are children. They accepted the booking straight away.
I added that it was for a special occasion. On arrival the host read my booking details and told my son that his first drink was on him, which I thought was a lovely gesture (unfortunately I forgot to ask his name).
The food was lovely and of very good quality. All cooked well and all nice and hot, with the desserts being cold as they should be (with cold glasses for the ice cream too).
The staff were all friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
There was confusion over something on the bill and I queried this (looked like something we had ordered wasn’t added to I wanted to check if it was correct). The waitress had a look, wasn’t sure so went away to clarify. She returned and explained it was there and how it had been added and was down to how the till adds this on. She was apologetic and I explained this was completely fine.
The restaurant was very clean, not too noisy, had no music on (thankfully as this can make it very difficult to talk) and was a really nice setting. The toilets were spotless. I thought the value for money was good.
The only reason I took one star off for service is because it was a little slow and we were waiting for a while to order, for the drinks to come and between courses. I did not mind this because everything was so nice, however there were some in our party who would have liked this to be a bit speedier (it was quite busy and they were all working hard).

Had an absolutely smashing roast at the Plymouth restaurant this afternoon. Bargain at £18.99, stuffed to the gills! Service, foods, atmosphere all great. We will be back!

We went as a party of 7 for our Christmas meal on Christmas day. From the first step inside the door being forcibly asked to shut the glass entrance door as it was cold (Mum struggles to move quickly with a stick) to the end of the meal, it was not a good experience. For the service which was nearly non existent to the amount of food for the £89 per person the price was extortionate. The servers were not attentative to anything, they seemed more interested in talking to each other. The fillet steak meal consisted of a fillet steak with a small portion of parmentier potatoes, no vegetables or anything else to accompany it. The turkey meals were better, but still not what would be called a hearty meal. Both starters and desserts were OK. Again nothing to write home about. This is the third year of going to this restaurant for Christmas after 2 really great times previously. To then put a service charge of just over £70 on the bill. Which i had to ask twice to be removed. We ended up paying over £750 (5 diets cokes and 1 bottle of wine as the drinks) Not impressed at all. Yes it’s Christmas Day i understand that. But if you are going to make it special then make it special.
