Been to this specific location a few times. The food is good, not as good as din tai, but good. The quality is definitely a step under din tai as well but you get what you pay for. The service is gets really slow when they are busy and the servers don’t check on you. Last time we had dinner here we didn’t get our drinks until almost all our food was delivered and we were half way done eating. I had to wave someone down to remind them about our drinks. Service is just not amazing overall, we weren’t even sure who our server was. Wontons, potstickers, soup dumplings, cucumber salad are all good. Place is priced fairly for what you get.

My friends never been here and wanted to try Dough zone, they think it is okay. The another place is better. The dish I like the best is the crispy scallions pancakes. Every thing is okay. I don’t like the egg crepe that on the side menu. We could not finished it. The service was not great. No refill on water, have to look for someone to order or pay. My friends called this place fast food dumpling compare to the other place.

This last time we went, we were met with an annoyed server seating us and were shooed out the door minutes after paying. After we had finished eating, I had left to go use the restroom while my husband took care of the check. When I came out, I couldn’t find him inside the restaurant and instead was waiting outside. He had said that the waiter had brought him the check and had asked him to leave 2 minutes later.
This was at 2:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was not packed at all. To me this seemed completely uncalled for and felt like we were being rushed out the door. Not worth coming back to subpar food and rude pushy service.

Leaving this review for management. After I paid my bill, the server, John Tyler K, removed my card from the payment system and flicked it back onto the table with two fingers and clear attitude, then briskly walked away.
I called out to him and asked, “are you good?” He ignored me and continued walking into the kitchen.
I felt disrespected by this interaction. This behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for, and it makes me think twice about returning.

Pork Xiao long bao was the most delicious one. I also ordered other dumplings but it was not meet my expectation as i wanted thin skin..
but it was not something like Hong kong or Taiwan style.
The beef noodle was yummy and ubi tea was perfect.
I paid almost $90 due to tips, service charge, tax.
I would like to visit again if they provide reasonable price.

Wanted some dumplings on a whim – ended up here. The food was amazing. Service was chaotic feeling but you got refills and food quickly – not always just from your server but whoever was near.
No complaints and my 3y/o and 9mo old ate everything we gave them (which in and of itself is a big feat!)

Delicious! There are some noodles that even though the spice level is good for me, my babies couldn’t eat. But all in all, very good!

I use to really like Dough Zone when they had one location in Bellevue. The dumplings were okay but I felt like the dough was too thick. The Dan Dan noodles were different too. For certain the Renton location is better than the downtown location, in my opinion. The food is good, but for dim sum there are better places.
