We had a fantastic dining experience at Cooper’s Hawk. From appetizers to dessert, everything was well-executed and full of flavor. We started with the House-Made Meatballs and the Thai Lettuce Wraps. The meatballs were rich and tender, served in a hearty sauce that made them a great opener. The Thai Lettuce Wraps were light, flavorful, and offered a nice balance of sweetness and spice.
For entrées, we had a great variety. The Ellie’s Chicken Piccata was bright and zesty with a lovely lemon-caper sauce and perfectly cooked chicken. The Prime Churrasco Steak was a standout—tender, juicy, and packed with bold flavor, paired with chimichurri that added a fresh kick. The Parmesan-Crusted Chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired nicely with the mashed potatoes and sauce.
We wrapped things up with a slice of chocolate cake, which was rich, decadent, and perfect for sharing—though you’ll definitely want it all to yourself!
The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance felt relaxed yet upscale, making it a great spot for a date night, family dinner, or special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

During a brief visit to Kansas City earlier this year, I stopped by Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant for a quick lunch—and it proved to be a delightful surprise. The space strikes a welcoming balance between casual comfort and contemporary polish, filled with natural light that gives the dining room an airy, relaxed feel. The beverage program is a standout, offering thoughtfully crafted selections that pair beautifully with the menu. My shrimp tacos were exceptional—fresh, vibrant, and confidently executed—easily the highlight of the meal. Attentive and friendly service rounded out the experience, making the visit both smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Cooper’s Hawk delivered a consistently strong and memorable dining experience, well worth a visit.

The atmosphere at Coopers Hawk was great. However, I ordered the BBQ ranch chicken salad and it was certainly questionable. The chicken appeared to be not fully cooked and very unappetizing. Fortunately, we ordered the meatballs and they were pretty good! Overall, I highly recommend asking what chicken you prefer before ordering this salad.

3.5 to 4 stars: First time at Cooper’s as we were in town visiting. Neat spot! The wine tasting/retail shop area was pretty cool to check out as we were waiting for our table. We made a reservation for 815pm on a Saturday evening. Got there around 810pm and waiting probably 5-10 min for our table. We got sat and it took at least 20+ min before someone came and greeted us and asked what we wanted to drink by a waitress who wasn’t our server. Our actual server, unfortunately, wasn’t as personable and friendly. When our food came out, it was just placed down in front of us and then the staff member walked away. Food was pretty good and we loved the atmosphere. Unfortunately the hospitality wasn’t great.

This was our first time here. We went on a busy night…reservation was made and we still had to wait for our table. Food and drinks were delish. Our waiter was excellent, I wish I knew his name to shout him on here. He was very attentive and gave us the best recommendations!

Loved the wine tasting! Its about 15.00 for 8 different wine tastings. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice & clean. We did a ladies night & had a ball. I did not try any food. My focus was the wine. We stood at the wine bar. Due to its busyness you will have to wait to begin tasting. Thats the only thing I didnt care for.

Our waiter was outstanding!! I believe his name was Tyrone. He was dealing with a difficult group of Karens while also keeping a professional and positive demeanor with his other 2 tables in the area. He was very attentive and caring. I was celebrating an anniversary and he made our visit so much more pleasant. The other staff in the building, including the servers and hosts were also great. Will definitely be coming again!

We had a delicious lunch at Cooper’s Hawk! The food was fresh, handmade, and full of flavor. Lunch portions were generous and a great value. We loved the warm pretzel roll and butter served after ordering — such a nice touch. The atmosphere was inviting, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Exceptional experience, no wonder they are so super busy! The food was amazing, they even had a full gluten free menu and gluten free starter bread which is such a rarity for our daughter! The wines were amazing. Food so tasty! Loved our gnocchi and steak! Service was great!

My partner and I went out for a late lunch on Sunday and had a wonderful time. Our server, Mckenzie, was an excellent addition to our weekend. She balanced running between two massive parties and our little booth with aplomb; we wanted for nothing! We enjoyed surf and turf – steak + ahi tuna – and the Country Rigatoni. The pretzel loaves are excellent, our raspberry wine was bubbly, and we decided to join the Wine Club so we can come back soon. This was a really excellent part of an otherwise dreary day.
